If I get key on humble or somewhere else, why I can't create giveaway with that?
Of course, I didn't buy it, but this site about giveaways. Why do people make me upset, because of my decision to give game to someone?
Jesus, I'm a good guy, who just want share game. But every time I see how people add me in blacklist for nothing. It's really hurt.

You can still give it, the only thing is you won't get any CV for it.
You shouldn't worry about blacklist...

same way you have the right to create GA for game you got for free anyone has right to blacklist you for whatever reason they feel like, including creating GAs for games currently free.

You probably will receive even more blacklists for this thread. As is mentioned already, everyone is free to blacklist for whatever reason they want to.

Jesus, I'm a good guy, who just want share game.

Because the blame game starts, I don't care enough to even think about blacklisting. But why are you exactly a nice guy if you stand in line to get something others also want, taking it from them, then giving to them while saying how good you are? You could have just not claimed it let someone take it. Deal wasn't really secret or anything.
So likely that's why they blacklist you, because you are a middle-man nobody asked for, and who is waiting for praise for that.

Not saying it is the case, but great point and we see this all the time from people who seem to do it for no other reason than they want the credit or praise... for effectively taking something away from someone. When there is a giveaway for a limited number of keys and you take one for a frivolous reason like you outlined, well just because you give it away to some other random person it doesn't mean that you didn't take it away from someone else who wanted it at the beginning. One good act does not absolve you of the bad act that preceded it.

If it's limited by numbers, I totally agree with you. If it's limited by time, it's better if someone who has time to get the giveaway and provide it to someone who wasn't able to get it.

With some games I actually claimed my keys even if I had the games, but always to personally gift it to someone who missed out the promotion and asked for it. I try (emphasis on try) to enter for games I will play, not just hoard stuff, but as far as most giveaways go, I have no illusions how those games will end up. I rather give it to someone who is interested than ending up with a cardfarmer. ( I distinctly remember doing this with Metro 2033 a year or two ago)

Shouldn't brave champions who get at least some keys to SG people before Russian bot farmers steal them all at once be celebrated instead.

Don't worry bout it, it's the good heart and intention that counts. It used to be a rule on Steamgifts to not be allowed to create giveaways for games that are/were given for free and some people still frown over others because of that. They might think it'd be better to leave the key right there where it's given away, so a person interested in the game can get it from there. Also it might raise the suspicion that you may try to gain an advantage in form of free level, free CV over others without any financial effort from your side.
As I said, don't worry about it. Happy holidays to you <3

Because there are people who try to get around the system as usual. Trying to post GA for a free game as fast as possible.
Because the date when the game was given for free is added later and at times some of these people get CV for the game if the time they added somehow happens to be before the game is added as "free" because not always its specified at what time the game was free..
Dont know how often this works but Ive read in other threads about this

So basically people think you are just trying to get CV from a free game.

Anyway if you didnt know - giving away a free game will not give you level increase. So its rather pointless, seeing how everyone already can get the game themselves for free. Of course Im not saying you cant make a GA for that.. just that I dont find it surprising that people blacklist you if you do it

Because some people see blacklists as a way to increase their e-peen. Special little snowflakes, they are.

think of them as people who pass by you on the street giving you dirty looks. You would be annoyed, yes. But the second that you walk past them, you don't ever cross them again.

You've just found a good way to prevent rude people from entering your giveaways. Make a GA for a free game, get all your blacklists, then after it ends make another GA for a better game.

Well there's not really a point to taking free games away from people who are trying to get them for free, just to make giveaways that won't bring any CV so I guess that's why some people are objecting. Blacklisting is a little overreacting but people do whatever they want and you shouldn't care too much.

Don't worry at all. People here will blacklist for any reason. Sometimes just for giving your opinion about anything on the forums (as I'll get many blacklists for this post :D). Everyone here who is active get random blacklists everytime. Its just a number, even people that were blacklisted by hunderds rarely encounter a giveaway and get a message that you are blacklisted anyway. There are many more people giving away and not worrying than there are blacklisters.

In your case I think that some people think that because you got a game for free to giveaway here you are taking away the chances of people who want to get it directly from HB. While its true, as you are getting to giveaway for no CV I don't see that big of an issue. Its better than the keys being gotten by bots or alt accounts at least. :)

Welcome to my whitelist, if that makes you feel better. :)

Happy holidays!

I think there used to be a rule that games could not be gifted away here if they were being simultaneously given away for free on another site (Humble, Steam etc.). So it could be long-time members who still have that mindset who blacklist you.

It could also be that people are annoyed because giving away games that are free on another site is so low-effort. Although I would not blacklist you myself.

I'm sure it's annoying for you but I doubt it's personal. The people who blacklist you probably did so for many people who were giving away the free game.
