Beta keys, guest passes, coupons, and free games should not be given away.

Also taken from, yep, you guessed it: the guidelines

Because people would flood support with tickets about why they didn't gain CV with their giveaways...

No calling out, please... The giveaway was made before the free offer, but someone can click the link and think in the wrong way.

Well I didn't post it to point fingers or something, just stating that the unavailability of this game in the list did not hit right away, just a while later after it appeared on indiegala as free which gave a fair time for everyone to give away their copy. It wasn't against the rules to give it away before it disappeared from the list, was it?

Um, I know this is old, but... Cubetractor isn't free? At least not anymore? It says it's $9.99 on Steam... but it's still invalid on here.

Free keys don't just expire a day later. So it stays removed.

As long as it was once given out for free in large quantities, it gets removed from the list of games available for giveaway.

Ah, that sucks. :( Well... if I can't give it away now, can I still trade it?

You can trade whatever you want, if someone wants it.

Trading it is fine, it only applies to giveaway system rules. But you might have a hard time finding someone to trade it to since there were so many given out for free. Most everyone who wanted it got it.

I've swapped a few "free" games for other free games that I missed out on. It's not unheard of.
