Which game is better?
Instead of the none choice which doesn't really help, I asked you guys to let me know of other games that are as good as or better than the ones in the poll. These games are the ones I have seen gameplays of. So I'll definitely check out stranded deep now. Thanks for the info.

Those games are very differents.
Dayz is more about scavenging and pvp.
Rust is more about building and raiding and you have to feed yourself and find some blueprint to learn and craft many items.
The forest is more like a building simulator(most part of the game is cutting tree to build everything and it's gore.)
7days to die is nice too but graphism aren't as good as others but its more about scavenging and pve and fun to play with friend. You can build and dig)
But,in the end,I think rust will be the best but it's only my opinion ;)

No option to vote for 7 Days To Die? I've played that one and it's good fun...same for Don't Starve...as for the ones listed, all I can say is that I'm far more interested in getting The Forest than the other two...and Stranded Deep like Rzehooj mentioned

I had to stop playing the long dark due to a HD crash. It's a damn pretty game.
I am doing sandbox (as that's what's available) and have characters load up on food and supplies and be sitting pretty. I have also died of exposure 10 hours in.
My best/worst time was when I was slowed to a crawl due to encumbrance slipped off a high place and wrecked my ankle and spent the night about 3 or 400 years away from a cabin as I had lost my sense of direction in the driving snow and couldn't move anyway.
My latest idiocy involved being stuck out at night without my bedroll so I couldn't sleep miles from the nearest bed.
I walked all night and made it to a cabin just around sunrise (I was lucky)
Why the hell you can't sleep in the hay in that barn in"Pleasant Valley" I will never know.

You didn't define "best," nor did you describe the qualifications for a good survival game, so this poll is pretty vague. I chose "Rust" because I find it to be amusing. It is "best" because it is enjoyable and popular, and also because it is the only one with which I have significant experience. The others are more serious takes on the survival genre, which you may enjoy if that is your bent.
You've excluded many survival games, as well, which may have ranked higher than the highest-ranked one currently in the poll.

By best I meant best one out of the ones I listed in the poll. If there others that you feel rank higher than the ones in the poll please let me know. The ones listed in poll are the ones I have seen game plays of. So I'd love to check out more games

I am not familiar with the survival genre outside of Rust, nor am I an adequate judge of the genre. There are, however, many survival games you missed, including Don't Starve, 7 Days to Die, and many others. I believe you mean "survival" as in the sort of "build from nothing" model that the three poll options above represent, in which case you may want to look at games similar to those you listed (i.e., using the "more like" function on Steam).
Ask other users more familiar with these genres, and perhaps watch some streams or play sessions of them before making your decision. Starting there would be the best way to ensure you make a more informed decision on determining which game best suits your interests.

None of those
You mean "multiplayer boring zombie half-assed mainstream survival(ish) horror game"
For pure survival: The Long Dark, Stranded Deep, Salt, FarSky, Don't Starve, Miasmata

Which is better please ? The long dark or Stranded deep ?

If I were to pick one, I'd go with The Forest.
Haven't played RUST but DayZ is crap (or at least was, the last time I played it).
Personally though, I think it's a waste of money for any of the games you've selected. They are overpriced games at the moment.

I wouldn't call dayz survival, at least not atm.
What dayz offers is full immersion and glorious interaction between players.
I don't know a lot of the forest and rust, but I think that the Long Dark is what are you looking for.

I want to buy a survival game but I can't decide which one. I've shortlisted some games that I've seen people play and that I like (based on gameplay videos on YouTube). Please let me know if there's a game that I missed.
PS: Didn't include H1Z1 because it's going to be free to play when it is released.
