One of the things I hate about the Humble Bundle is that people LOVE to complain that a bundle doesn't have 4 AAA games and 3 games that were released 2 days ago. All of these people believe they are entitled to a godly bundle of games. The recent example is Humble Indie Bundle X. Frankly, I think it is the greatest indie bundle to date. I own half the games in the bundle, but that doesn't make the bundle "meh" or "lame". Just because you own the games in the bundle, it's bad? Come on. A bad bundle is the Jim Guthrie bundle or the Comedy Bundle. This is not a bad bundle. Stop feeling like you are entitled, and don't complain for unnecessary reasons. And don't complain about the bonus games either. Just be glad these bundles even exist.

I find it funny how you complain about people complaining about bundles, but then proceed to complain about the Jim Guthrie bundle and the Comedy Bundle

Because in the end, bundles are products/business, and people will complain for products when they are not as they would like to be, resonable or not that demand/thinking be.

The only thing I'd close to complain about is that it is making people feel entitled to having games at mere cents. That is just as unsustainable as the budgets AAA companies are making lately.

Bip.Trip Runner 2 alone would make it worth buying for me (if I didnt have the game), also Surgeon Simulator 2013 is a good game (again, I own it ._.)

I don't want to comment on others but I want to say one thing, "If you're doing a thing, do it right". I am talking to sites like big bad bundle in this example.

There's nothing wrong with HBX as it stands now - what pissed people off was the 1000 limited copies of Starbound which in turn artificially raised the average for the entire bundle for everyone else.

The bundle is actually great for me and I bought it. I measure if the BTA value is ok for my standards and I act accordingly. This time it wasn't because of the high price bta because of those 1000 copies. I don't complain though, I just don't care. They will be bundled again and again, maybe not soon, but eventually. My backlog is pretty big so I can wait 1-2 years.

Why do people complain about bundles? For the same reason bundles complain about people. People and bundles have been complaining about each other since time immemorial. That's the way it's always been.

Who even cares about good/bad bundles? Different people liked different bundles, simple. The problem is that people forget that no matter which way you look at it, bundles are offering content at a much lower price than usual, and sometimes for charity which is nice. You're not forced to buy a bundle. If you don't like the current bundle then don't buy it.

The reason people complain about the lack of AAA titles in bundles now is thanks to the Origin and THQ and Deep silver bundle. They had a bunch of AAA titles. I would love more of those kinds of bundles, but I know I won't be able to have many of these kinds of bundles. I don't really have any interest in this bundle but I heard the games in it are amazing. I might see about picking up a couple really good ones for a couple cards off Steam Trades. I'm waiting for a collab bundle where there are 5-7 games each from a different publisher and each game is/was a AAA title. Like games that are about 2-4 years old. That would be amazing.

I made tons of profit reselling those AAAs bundles lol. Next AAAs bundle, I'll stock up as many as I can then resell them 6 months later for an even more profit.

And there is nothing wrong with that. The only thing is that the second they see any AAA title in a bundle they think everything should be sold for a buck.

Because people are selfish.
I also get angry when people complain about the BTA being "too high" Seriously? It's still tons cheaper than it would be and FFS, it's mainly for charity... Have a heart, guys.

Just to be fair, bundled games are not mainly for charity. Companies are getting rich off of them (Humble+developers+charities). And their charities are usually crap that don't even put the money to good use. Bundles are mainly to make money off games that aren't making money anymore.

So you are saying that donate to charity is bad????...dude...

Now joke apart, of cousrse is a businness, but is a bussiness that resurrect games that people dobn´t buy because is to old, or because this don´t have the correct PR when they appear....And if you don´t want that EVIL coroporations you can give EVERTHING to charity. And Crappy charities...men...they are people that put some effort in making the world a better place in the form that they think is the best...yeah maybe they are more efficient or best quality ones....give them some credit men.

Not saying it's overall a bad practice to give to lousy charities. But don't fool yourself into thinking somebody isn't making some bank off of your "charitable" donation. I prefer to give money to the developers since I know what kind of work they do (they actually have a product that I can see and touch and have to claim all of their income in standard tax documents). If I ever donate to a charity, I do some research first.

I agree. I've shared this sentiment in other bundle threads and have done so for awhile. I really find it sad that so many people only care about indie games if they can get the most popular ones all at the same time for a dollar, other wise it's not worth their time, which is a big shame. I look at most bundles and see good games, but I guess most people only want what's been hyped by failtubers and the media and the indie games that are like mini AAA games, bigger budgets and nice graphics :|

It even upsets me when people complain about the less coveted bundles like Indiegala (and I think Indiegala has had some nice bundles if you actually like indie games), I think most of their bundles are more true to the "indie" spirit as they contain games that are made however the developers want and usually are made for a niche.

I guess it comes down to "if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all," saying a bundle sucks or is too expensive really isn't contributing anything to the discussion at all. I guess people just love to bitch when they feel they are anonymous and don't think the people whose work they are insulting are around to read their comments, which to me shows a certain level of immaturity. These bundles are so cheap relative to buying the games individually (in a sale) that it seems ridiculous to me that anyone should complain, but I guess most people think that they are just that entitled that they should have any game they want for dirt cheap.

My only complaint is that I already owned the majority of games in this bundle. That's my own fault for being impatient with indie games and wanting to play them rather than wait for them to be bundled. That's my issue though.

The bundle itself is great. Every game is quality and I see nothing wrong with it. I had a similar issue with HIB 9, in that I owned a large portion of it already. I did buy that one though. I haven't gotten X and likely won't unless the bonus games are fantastic and I don't own them.

The only time I have a complaint about the content of a bundle is when its really crap games, but even there its still a swath of games at a crazy low cost.
