The Elder Scrolls Online is looking for beta players.

It's probably old news but sharing it just in case someone is still interested in it.

It seems you don't know how betas work, I'm sorry to say but you probably won't receive an invitation at all (that is if the information you entered was true...)

I was into some betas before but i received an invitation within 2-3 days or instant. So you say that i should have introduced false information in the join page?

I participated in many betas (filled all space there was for that in their form and still it was only about half) and in most of the cases beta keys aren't given right away, usually it takes some time because they are waiting for forms to come, then they are picking beta tester and then they are slowly distributing keys. So I think you just got lucky when you received invitations after 2-3 days. About the information entered - nevermind ;)

Sure, if you consider every beta sign up the same. Obviously this one is on a much larger scale than most games out there. They have enough players to choose from and they clearly shown that not everyone gets it. So, then you got to ask yourself.. how are they supposed to have selected people already when sign ups just opened, hundreds of thousands people have signed up and the most competent ones have to be selected out of all of those. It's not all automated either, since there are several text fields to put in a personal answer. Clearly this doesn't happen in 2 days, while something as Akainero demon hunters are jumping for more testers and you get a key right away. Obviously Zenimax haven't send out invitations yet.

The page doesn't do anything. After I fill everything out and hit "Complete Beta Application" the page just hangs without any loading. Is that normal?

Let's agree to disagree... I mean, if they turn it into WoW, then ya, it doesn't need to be there... But if it actually becomes Skyrim online (not exactly Skyrim but you get my point), then it would be okay. Being able to do those quests that were so much fun and you wish your friends could join, that's what I am looking forward to... But if they turn it into the average MMORPG, then it needs to get off the internet...
