Will you consider the Epic Game Store your new default library?
If they are going to repeat another game, and this time is Hyper Light Drifter, I would thank them to achieve the exclusive content. I think Switch and IOS have that content, and IOS even reaches 120 fps. I know they are not technically obliged to give us that, but as a kickstarter backer and PC user, I would have thanked to receive it as well. I shouldn't have to remember them that some of their promised goals were not achieved and we didn't complain at all...

Sadly, at least on Steam, HLD has not had a depot update since 21 Jul, 2017 according to the SteamDB plugin. Though the actual history page shows something that almost looks like depot updates, so im not sure what to believe myself. Their announcements definitely stop at that 2017 update though.

To be fair, it's not like I care why they're giving away stuff :)

To be fair if they werent trying to make a profit they wouldnt be a company but charity. Of course people instead of saying thank you for getting free games they call Epic cheap. Irony at its finest.

Because no matter what their intentions are it also benefits you.

Next one might be: Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun or Valhalla Hills from Daedalic Entertainment.

It's most likely Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun.

Wow if only they had a system that detects in the client if you already own the game in your library there that's given free, it takes you to a page for a different free game that only people who already own the initial game can see and get. I've gotten every free deal they had so far that I'm aware of (Even ShadowComplex from the outset of the client before these deals of late 2018 through all of 2019) and these 2 games are internal repeats for me.

If you had bought the game with actual money, would it have been more bearable?

The only reasonable thing to do in that case would be to be ungrateful.
Just like the other day, this guy was giving out free food and you should've seen how disgusted my face looked, the food looked great but I already ate so the gesture did nothing for me. What an inconsiderate jerk.

Omg! I've been doing this all wrong! The other day I accidentally thanked the barista who gave me a free dark cocoa drink. He didn't do that every time I visited (nevermind that it was the first time I've visited that cafe) nor did he offer free cookie with the drink . That jerk! I should have yelled at him. :(

yeah :) I guess it's not gonna be GTA V, but most prolly would be Kingdome Come.

It was already on my wishlist on Steam so I'm quite glad Epic decided to give it away. :)

The Korean rating info wasn't a list of games that WILL be free but just a list of games that may be free as the majority of the previous free games have been new to the Epic Store.
Comment has been collapsed.
The korean rating information wasn't a full list of games that would be free. They just guessed the list. They've pointed out 6/11 correctly (including Talos Principle tomorrow). And there is only one unknowned game left. And it should be a big name as Shadow Tactics and Talos Principle, so you can hope Kingdom Come.

Most of the games they sell aren't aimed at the younger players so they have no realistic reason to cater to them - They want players who can continue yo buy games not players who are too young to do so.

And that was never a stated a policy, just because they did it before doesn't mean they'll do it again.

Its 12 days of games, starting 19 dec. So 30 dec is last day.
Comment has been collapsed.
Where is the info on that? 19dec-30 dec is 12 days.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yes, but my guess it wont be any new games after 30, because unless Im really bad at counting, 19dec-30dec is 12 days.
Comment has been collapsed.
The question was if there is going to be any new games after 30. Since 30 is the 12th day I guess it will be free until the event ends on 1st.
But I guess we wont know until its completely over, but it doesnt make sence if they would give more games since its more then 12 days.
Edit:
Unless they dont count 19 as day 1 and do 19-20 as day 1 and then make last game on 31st.
Comment has been collapsed.
Thats probably correct. I thought they ment actual days and not their own start/end time.

Get your new free game every day from Dec. 19 at 11am EST until Jan 1 at 11AM EST.
So, one new one every day. That means there would be one that runs from 11am (it starts at 11am here) on the 31st til 11am on the 1st. Just a niggling detail, but I think EGS screwed up counting. :P

2 games were repeated so it's actually 11 new games :)
Unless the last one will be on Jan 1 (unlikely) and it'll end up as 12 new games not counting the repeats :)

does talos principle contain the road to gehenna dlc?

While Hello Neighbor is highly likely, it could also be Hello Neighbor Hide & Seek. Hello Neighbor Hide & Seek is a timed exclusive on the EGS.

"Owning" a game would be ideal ofcourse, but the price of Game Pass and Origin is actually low enough to get me there, in months where I have time to play. Especially for games that are singleplayer one-time experiences that I would only play once anyway. And I'll only subscribe to one service at a time, because of time reasons.
And thanks for the reminder about this particular game, Kratos1!

I guess Little Nightmares is the next game on dec 30

I think you are right. Its the last free game of the 12 right?
