Will you consider the Epic Game Store your new default library?
Made an account on the site and installed the app but I cant confirm my email some sort of bug I guess, good start...I have accounts on every platform I doubt I will leave steam with almost 1000 aaa games and thousands invested in various f2p games , the only way is if I can link my steam library but even that is kinda useless you'll never beat steam its like trying to fight Microsoft I mean wth are you thinking.

you can view your purchase history, wich should list all games you own. but I haven't seen a listing of your library as such

he was right to say it though. subnautica is fantastic, nothing like that shitfest no mans sky. great gameplay, fun exploration and a neat story made by a passionate team who actually cared about the game they were making.

Be careful with EPIC though as you seem to always NEED TO HAVE THESE THINGS
CHECKED (rather than unchecked) to not receive news / spam / marketing related "info".

That's the trick. It says "Click here to NOT receive emails from ..." So if you don't tick it you WILL GET the emails. (yes this is against GDPR I think)

It could also be interpreted as "Click this to not receive" and when you click, it unchecks it. Considering it's checked by default, it makes sense since otherwise you wouldn't have to click.
Overall this is obviously shady wording to make sure to catch people off guard.

Darn, just saw for some reason my account says 'Korea' country. And apparently you can't change your country, if ever set to Korea. I don't remember setting Korea!! Only have one free game on account so made another, works.

subnautica will have a standalone expansion called Subnautica: Below Zero.
By giving the first one away, they can see it as advertisement for their future games.
And maybe Epic convinced them to give the first one away in exchange they will take 8% instead of the normal 12% on said expansion.
