Currently Steam runs a Borderlands franchise sales week-end and due to their new pricing policies for bundles you can grab the Pre-Sequel for only 4.8€ by buying the Borderlands Triple Pack bundle. You have though to already own the first two Borderlands to get this price.

http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/257/

EDIT: Borderlands 1 DLCs are NOT on sale, but if you buy them through that same option, a 70% discount will be applied (thanx JonSnowDen)

Does anyone who owns Borderlands: Pre-sequel, but not the Season-pass tell if the discount applies to the Pre-sequel+Season Pass combo too? And if yes, how much is it?

Thanks!

It doesn't.
And for future reference, the way to tell them apart, on the pre-sequel main store page under packages the blue buttons are labeled "package info" and "bundle info"
Bundles are eligible for these price reductions, packages are not.

What the hell, all i need is BL pre-sequel, but steam forces me to buy BL2 in addition to pre-sequel.

All or nothing, basically. It's still nice, as it gives you a more fair pricing than before, but you have to get the entire bundle or you can't get the discount.

Buy Borderlands Triple Pack BUNDLE (?)
6 of 7 items from this bundle are already in your library.
Buy this bundle to save 70% off the 1 items you don't yet have!

And what i see in cart:
Includes 2 items: Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Oh you're saying it's making you buy what you own already? That's got to be a glitch. I'd say contact Steam Support, but they suck.

Already did, but very likely they wont respond in time.

I agree. You can teepee Steam Support's main office branch if you like. I'm sure they have a small cubicle somewhere to place a flaming bag of dog poo at.

$7.20 for the pre-sequel and the Claptrap DLC for the first Borderlands. Sounds pretty good to me. Thanks for the heads-up!

$7.01 without any of the DLC but thanks for the info ^^ bought the pre-sequel along with the season pass earlier today, was cheaper than buying everything seperately.

That's cool, too bad it's only the base game so I'll pass. I still haven't finished Borderlands 2 though. While the first one was very fun to beat the second gets tedious after a while in singleplayer because of horrible loot drops and because the game really was designed to be fun in co-op.

There is a bug, you can't add the game to the cart if you have family sharing, game just won't appear on the cart if you add that pack. Fucking Volvo giving problems as always.

It doesn't have anything to do with Family Sharing.. these new types of bundle just cannot be bought by someone who owns all it's content. Which is your case.. you won all so you can't buy for yourself or as a gift.. so simply can't add to cart.

No you just did not understand, it's the case of my cousin, he has family sharing with me, he adds the pack to cart and it just doesn't appear on the cart, he doesn't own Pre-Sequel, I tried to do family sharing with my brother to test it, since he didn't had that bug, but when I gave the permissions to use family sharing, the bug appeared, then I disabled it and the bug disappeared.

kk I get it now.. the bug is that having access to a Game thru a Family-Sharing blocks the bundle purchase.. that's actually quite a hickup. Knowing Steam support it might take a while before they become aware of it and actually fix this.

Thing is, we tried with Valve Complete Pack, and it works, but this pack looks like different, on the pack page it shows one price, a high price, then when you add to cart it shows another. much cheaper, but at least it adds to cart. ib4 Volvo never fixes their problems.

It looks like a wrongly set Bundle to me.. they give an extra 70% on the Bundle (over the individual items sale %), looks like it's made this way mainly because the BL1 DLCs are not discounted in there but I'm pretty sure this result wasn't intended. Why would they let people get Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel for 4.80$ when they ask 15.99$ for it on it's own (Canadian Prices).

Looks to me like this new bundle setup is prone to bring in some price mistakes.

I think the same as you, ti must be more a wrongly set discount as the price difference with the individual game is huge. I'm pretty sure that they gonna change it, at least for the sales to come. Not sure we're gonna see this price again anytime soon...

As tempting at the deal is, I still haven't finished B2 yet (I think I stopped after soon after arriving at the main Hub), so I'm in no real rush. Will wait for the GotY edition (that way I can play with the DLC characters too)

€7.50 for me (including one DLC that I don't have). That's still too much for a non-GOTY edition in my eyes.
