If you get this, get the True Ninja pack DLC as well. Gives an extra difficulty level and extra game modes. At current sales prices it's worth just getting it and seeing if you like it. ( Game + dlc will set you back only $1.10 total, so..)

Why would you tell people not to play the second Shadowgrounds game? It's a pretty good game with more playable characters with each character having their own arsenal of weapons. One could argue that it's a bit weaker when it comes to the story but gameplay-wise it's still just as fun if not better.

Not sure what you mean, it was remastered when HL2 came out - Half-Life Source (0.81€ right now) - and there is also the famous Black Mesa project (7.99€ right now). That makes two updated editions of one of the best games of all time, what more could we want :)
