how do you add the burnout paradise bonus pack to steam?
It says you can but cant figure out exactly how

Get code from Amazon.
Enter code here:

Play game on Steam - it's been added to your game.

Search your email for "1000728511" from 2014. You should have received all your notifications about the credit on the same day (mine came Jan 3rd). I have a stack of four of those emails on that day -- but you also have to keep track of how many you've already used yourself.
[edit] Also, it'll show you the total (with the $5 credit applied) before you confirm -- though I'm not sure what it does if you have 1-click ordering turned on in Amazon. [/edit]

Oh.............nevermind...................I'll look elsewhere then.

FUCK. I came for the same thing... misleading title! ;_;

It was still a good deal for Bioshock Infinite + Castlevania. BI is only slightly less and I don't think I've seen Castlevania for as low elsewhere.
Edit: I wouldn't be surprised if the price of Bioshock Infinite was raised again back to where it was before. Just speculation on my part, but I think this may have happened because the base price dropped from $40 to $30 (which is in line with the recent price drop on other stores), while the discount % stayed the same.

Anyone have some of these vouchers unused (and that they're not likely to use?)
Comment has been collapsed.
I wouldn't say that. It's a bit better but still pales in comparison to last year. Other than EA and a few games from 2K, the only other publishers on board with any significant number of offerings has mostly been 505 Games, Rockstar, and Square Enix. Still many other publishers out there who have not participated.

As an FYI, the current plan we're discussing is to not run EC again next year. This could, of course, change, but in all likelihood 2014 will not see a return of the sale.
Cheers, Tony
Note: by that he means 2015

Spent 1 coupon out of 5 for The Bureau and I have half a mind to spend another one for the Thief Bundle but I'll probably never play them. Though Deadly Shadows was beyond awesome. I still shudder when I think about that hospital level. Oh crap now I've gotta get it.
Comment has been collapsed.
Thief: Deadly Shadows only supports 4:3 resolutions as far as I know though. Looks like there is some sort of unofficial patch mentioned on PCGamingWiki to enable widescreen resolutions.

So I saw the post says there's no way to check the credit amount you have through Amazon, but if you go here and then click on the "Enter your code" button, a little popup should appear that not only allows you to enter a code, but also shows your balances for all the promotional credit. There should be one for software/video games, that's probably where the EC credit is at. Just something I found a bit helpful for those who want to keep track how much credit is left.
Comment has been collapsed.
It does not list or itemize what those credits actually are, it is only accurate if you know for a fact that the $5 EC credits are the only type of promotional credit that you have on your account. For example, it says I have $35 for software/video games but I know for a fact that I have only $10 worth (2) of EC credits left. The other $25 must be for some promotions that I'm not even sure what they are.
Comment has been collapsed.
Ah, well, didn't realize it also included other promos too.
Still, a nice find regardless
Comment has been collapsed.
Your Balances: SOFTWARE/VIDEO GAMES = $594.42
If only ...
Not sure what exactly gets added here, but as Shad0WeN already pointed out, it must be credit from different promotions, but it does not tell you what exactly it's good for.

Are you referring to XCOM Collection (the collection of the older games and Enemy Unknown) or The Bureau?
(If The Bureau, just wanted to note not to judge the other main XCOM games from that as they play much differently.)
Enemy Unknown is the only XCOM I've played to completion though, and for that one, the story's not particularly amazing, but it keeps the gameplay moving and the strategic turn-based gameplay is easily the highlight of the series.
Comment has been collapsed.
Pretty much just referring to XCOM EU/EW and The Bureau. I see that EU/EW is more the turn based route and Bureau is kind of 3rd person. Just didn't know if I should spend my last 3 coupons on them or just wait to see if better games come to EC.

IMVHO, definitely pick up Enemy Unknown whenever you feel like it's a good deal -- I put about forty hours into it and enjoyed naming all my recruits after my friends and their usual nicknames. I haven't shelled out for The Bureau yet though -- mostly because the Metascore doesn't give me high enough confidence that I'll enjoy it despite it seemingly attempting to cash in on the XCOM name. I did pick up Enemy Within, but haven't played it yet.
Also, checking your most-played games, I see a lot of shooters. I was going to say definitely pick up Bioshock Infinite because of that, but it looks like you already own it! Play that game! It has an excellent story! (I skipped Bioshock 2 and went straight to Infinite and have no regrets.)
But back to XCOM... yeah, if you feel like you want a change of pace to something more strategic, Enemy Unknown was one of my favorite games and I would recommend it. Again, not so much because of story, but just because it's fun to play. (Checking... yep... there's a demo on Steam -- should give you hopefully a decent idea of if you think it's worth it.) For Bureau, I'm still waiting for a much better deal on that one.

Thanks for a long thorough reply! Yeah, i picked up Infinite while it was 13.20 and not 9.99 (As in right now lol) and am still playing through the first one. Loving it so far. I love how Infinite is steampunk looking. I have played a lot of shooters in my time but i use to just play rpgs mostly on consoles because I love getting pulled into the story and trying to get the most out of it. I will definitely have to check out the demo for XCOM and see if I like it. I like the setting in The Bureau, but yeah, I see what you mean with that metascore it has. Thanks a bunch!

MP3 is far more than a decent game, are you sane? For the price, you get a solid product.
Comment has been collapsed.
Well if you judge it with the first 2 games, it's shit.
It's a bad Max Payne game but it's a good TPS game.
Comment has been collapsed.
I did played both previous installments (back when they were released), and of course MP3 did not made the same kind of speechless impression on me as those did, but it's still quite good (i'm 33% in, so don't know if it will turn so much worse as you say). Judging from the Splinter Cell Conviction, and Hitman Absolution, which were clearly a awful turnaround to the series, and games not deserving to be called as part of their series, MP3 seems quite legit to me. Yes i miss those cartoonish comics style scenes, and the voice is not quite the same, but to be frank i can not imagine a much better version of MP3, surely you don't expect same gameplay mechanics after 10 years of gaming evolution.
So yeah, when i complete it, then i'll rate it, but for so far on (bout 33% in) it is really worth the money i spent on it. (tip: look at Alan Wake, from Remedy, and think if they could have done a better Max Payne 3, i don't think so, i even have read an article where Remedy praises R* for their good work). Story-wise it's no wonder first Max Payne game is unbeatable.
Once again, i want everyone who thinks to buy MP3 or not, to be sure, that at this price, this game is superb deal. In no way it is as bad as Splinter Cell 5 or Hitman 5.
Comment has been collapsed.
It does have something, but it is in English/Portuguese (which i speak, so it is quite funny).
Comment has been collapsed.
Compared to the first two games it is utter sh*t.
Not judging it based on its two predecessors it is barely average game where you spend most of the time watching cut-scenes, running in to the room, shooting couple of guys equipped with terrible AI, and this repeat through out whole game.

First of all, sorry for my english, not my main language.
Just wanted to give a heads up to the European people if buying Bioshock Infinite, I bought it today, they gave me an NA ( North America ) key, how do I know that? Well, when I activated it, it said "Bishock Infinite Retail (NA)" or something like that, I'm from Spain, when I activated it, it worked without problems ( I didn't use a VPN or any kind of software to fake my location ). I can play the game. But I'm not sure if I got lucky while activating it, or it's a bug, so yea, just wanted to give a heads up if you're buying it from Europe, you might have some problems activating the game afterwards.

It doesn't look like there are any restrictions on activation

I got the same on GTA Vice City (from trilogy pack). something like "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (New Music)(NA)"
also i got double entry in my steam library on each gta from the trilogy (one with and one without the icon). (maybe something with mac versions? or a steam error)
edit: btw, new music means they cut off about 8 songs from original GTA_VC, sadly both Michael Jackson hits :(

Appears at the right price for me, but it's out of stock. Probably for the better for me anyways, I didn't even touch the first one yet.

This is showing as $15 USD for me as part of the 30th anniversary Mac sale (it's a Steam key for both Windows & Mac):

weren't steam keys for Enclave given out by a forum quite recently? if you really want you can get a key from someone who has an extra copy, perhaps a trader
