Want to know some good first person RPGs. Been kinda bored lately and I want to know some good games for when I get some cash. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't say Skyrim or Oblivion. I played the shit out of Oblivion and I lost interest in Skyrim. Also Dead Island because I'm borrowing it from a friend right now. I'd like it if they were either fantasy or sci-fi, nothing too realistic.

OP there really aren't that many. Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and New Vegas, Borderlands, Bioshock, Morrwind, Stalker, Deus Ex, Arx Fatalis, Thief, Mount and Blade are pretty much all I can think of. But most of these you've played, been suggested, or likely to turn down because the graphics aren't good enough.

Why does everyone think "this guy thinks Morrowind looks dated, let's never suggest any old games to him ever!" Think about it- I played the shit out of Oblivion. I loved every second of it. I didn't care about the graphics. So, thank you for your suggestions and fuck you for judging.

I'm surprise nobody brought up Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. The combat's amazing in that game, and the story (at least the main story) is very good.

Urgh, just looked it up on Steam. $60 and third-person. If I get a ton of cash I might get it, but for that price it's just not worth it.

Oh right, third-person.

I can't remember if it's first- or third-person, but if it's the former Risen might be a good choice, especially since the DRM got removed with a patch.

I think The Witcher can also be played in first-person, maybe.

Other than that, everything I can think of is third-person.

Incorrect. Most of them are first-person. Unless you mean something weird by "first-person." Example.

The Mount and blade games are quite good, and you have the option of first person.
X-3 Terran Conflict doesnt have level ups and such but has a great roleplaying aspect (Be what you want to be!)
Going out on a limb Minecraft does have a lot of rpg servers.
Thats all I got

Really old, and might not work on most systems, but HeXen 2 maybe? There's an HD pack you can find for it somewhere online, too.

I don't care about graphics because it's bullsh*t. I hope u understand that too and most cool 1st person RPG is Systeam Shock 1, 2; Deus Ex 1, 3; Daggerfall, Morrowind, Skyrim; Mount&Blade series; Legend of Grimrock, Ultima series (Underworld I think best). That's all what I'm remember.

P.S. U sure what u need 1st person RPG? Dragon Age 1, Baldur's Gate 1, 2, Neverwinter Nights 1, 2 awesome games too

P.P.S. Fallout 3 and New Vegas sucks. Originals better

Albion. In order to play it properly you need to be running Windows 95 or using a DOS emulator. Played it back when it first came out. You will not find a better RPG. It has detailed, carefully crafted, 150,000 word story. It's not entirely first person perspective but all of the parts of the game that can benefit from being in first person are in first person. It's abandonware now and can easily be acquired for nothing if you are so inclined.

Remember to ask Colonel Priver "What do you know about gun?" and to take as many chocolate bars as you can.
