Still level 0? Get to level 1 for free!

Are you still level 0? Do you want to get to level 1 and enjoy all of the giveaways that come with it? Here's how you can get there for free!

NOTE
This won't work for you if you can't access the Steam Market. This guide assumes that your account is able to access the market and freely trade your inventory.

Step 1. Go to your discovery queue (http://store.steampowered.com/explore/). Make sure you're signed in on the website, and go through your discovery queue completely 3 times. Clicking "Next" repeatedly should suffice, it's not like any of the suggestions are logical in the slightest.

Step 2. Once you do this three times, you should have received 3 Winter Sale trading cards in your inventory. Go ahead and sell all of them on the market for ~$0.13 each (just sell each one for the going rate).

Step 3. You should have landed yourself a total of ~$0.40 in your Steam wallet. You'll only need to have $0.14, so really you don't need to sell more than one or two of the cards to do this. You can go ahead and collect the rest or sell them if you want, whatever you do with that is in your own interest.

Step 4. Take this $0.14 that you didn't have before and buy a gift copy of 12 Labours of Hercules II: The Cretan Bull (http://store.steampowered.com/app/360640/). At the time of writing, this game costs $0.14. If it is showing up as $0.50 for you, just search for 12 Labours of Hercules and buy whichever version is $0.14. They seem to be rotating them into the sale every week.

Step 5. Give away that sucker! Once the giveaway closes and the winner marks it received, you should have leveled up to level 1!

Note that this isn't very effective to do over and over since the CV value of the game is only $0.45, so it won't get you much further than level 1. However, it's great if you're still level 0 and want to give back to the community but you don't have money to spend.
