  • Intel Pentium 4 3.0 GHz
  • 1GB RAM DDR
  • NVidia Geforce FX 5600 512mb
  • Creative Sound Blaster Live! 5.1
  • Intel D865PERL
  • 500Watts power supply
  • Two 80gb hard Drives

pc

I used this computer till early 2012 when I bought the one that I'm using now

I got it when my uncle passed away, it was his computer around 2003. I got it on 2005 (I'm 19). That's why I still keep it because of him actually, he was like my older brother.

Also, I made a private giveaway of a game that I enjoyed a lot on that PC, there's no CV so anyone feel free to join

Mine was an eMachines a450n with the following:

Pentium II 500mhz processor
32MB SD 133 RAM
8MB ATI 3D Rage II
Generic Sound Card
4GB HD
Windows 98 SE

Man I miss that computer. It blazed through the old DOS and Windows games like nobody's business. For what it was, it was awesome.

I had an Apple II, then an original Macintosh when I was a kid. They were both a few years outdated when I got them, but I enjoyed them regardless.

  • 486DX 33MHz
  • 8 MB of RAM
  • 330 Megabyte Hard Drive
  • Viper VLB video card with 2 Megabytes of RAM
  • Pro Audio Spectrum 16 soundcard
  • 2X SCSI CDROM attached to the SCSI controller on the sound card
  • A 3.5" 1.44MB and a 5.25" 1.2MB floppy drive
  • 17" Viwsonic CRT. Can't remember the max resolution but I know it was at least 1600x1200

I can't remeber the version of MSDOS it came with but it was upgraded to 6.2 before it was done. Windows 3.11 WFW was also loaded. It also had a few different Linux distros installed. Over the years a few different modems were added ranging from 9600 baud to a 3Com 56K by the end. It also had a 4GB hard drive added that had to be split into 3 separate partitions because DOS had no clue what to do with a drive that big.

My family used that thing from 1992 through the first quarter or so of 2000. The monitor blew a long time ago but I still have the rest of the system. I can't bring myself to get rid of it :)

The first computer that I ever called my own:

IBM PS/1 - 3 MB ram - 40 MB hard drive - 486sx processor - 2400 baud modem - Windows 3.1

I got in 1993. I was in junior high. I still remember using that bastard to log onto BBS' and it would take an hour to download a .jpg of a girl in a bikini. I ended up selling it when I was in high school.
