i can't find a normal answer on google either...

So i have a speedlink controller, what is working properly, BUT when i want to play some games - like Dead space , Dark souls on steam , i cant play it because of my mouse... it keeps looking up when i move my joystick. how can i turn of mouse when i play with theese games with controller?

For example when i play Borderlands, it is not happening.. but i want to play dark souls :(

If the mouse is unplugged and the game still forces you to look up sometimes, it sounds like a problem with the controller. It's impossible to receive input from the mouse if it's not plugged in. Could it be a compatibility issue between Speedlink and those games? I've never heard of that controller but I'm guessing it's third party which could make it a case of compatibility.

Download it from here . You may have to change a few settings. What it will do is give you a 1080p res for dark souls and lets you disable the mouse cursor from appearing on the screen.

Is the controller directinput or Xinput?

or does it have a switch for either?

make sure you are using the xinput settings. Some games will support either while others need the xinput (360 type) settings only. I have had issues like this in the past were it seems like all the other buttons work fine but the analog sticks do not work right. I know that Dark Souls has to be xinput.
