Honestly the case doesn't have too much in terms of management. Those three cutouts, above and below the tray, and the grommet I put on where the hard drive cages used to be was about it. The main prob was that some of the cables (in fact a lot of them) just weren't long enough to route through the back in an efficient way. Others were even too long for where they needed to reach. Now I'm debating getting some custom modded cables soon that are better fitted in length for my case and going to see if I can make a psu shroud for this thing somehow. Might hold off on the cables tho since im not sure if that 850w psu will fit my needs when I add more to it in the future.

Wow, looks awesome :) I am also planning to build my own PC, but have never built one myself... Some ppl say it's really easy, but I don't really know how I would attach a liquid cooler properly for example... Anyone has made experience with that already?

My only real question would be why did you do a build right before a major major CPU/architecture release?
My friend was waiting a while to see what Ryzen would be like before upgrading, then got too impatient and bought Kaby Lake anyway. Four weeks ago. Then he spent three weeks dealing with bad hardware issues (I forget the exact nature). So he only just got his stuff together last week. I jumped on his back a bit about it, and my feelings toward you are a tiny bit similar. Just that small criticism. Why buy just before a major major release, especially when it looks like AMD might be able to have the edge at the high end?

Main reason was my little laptop was dying on me and I needed something asap before my next online classes started. Besides kaby lake is still pretty new and I prob would've gone intel anyway. AMD does make some nice stuff and I am interested in seeing how their new ryzen chips turn out when they launch, but it seems like intel has had less issues with their products in the overall scheme of things.

Okay.
I don't want to seem like a dick (even though I am), and I don't want you to think I'm shitting on your purchase, so I won't ask any followups.
Good luck.

Cool, I get to be a dick.
I took a bit of an issue with you characterizing AMD as having issues. I'd say for the most part in the CPU game either you are competitive with the other guy or you aren't. The history of the competition with AMD and Intel is complex, but I absolutely would (all things being equal) have recommended that person doing a build wait to see what Ryzen offers.
If you were doing a budget desktop gaming PC build I would not question the urgency to replace the dying laptop, but given the no-expense-spared nature of your build, I would think you could have also gotten a nice laptop instead and waited to see what Ryzen offered. Maybe a nice powerful ultra-light in addition to a beast machine. Because then your education tool isn't tied to a specific location in your house, as well as that you can still get some work done while you allow a family member, friend, or significant other to enviously game on your beast. That is, I think the ideal is a nice desktop and a nice laptop.
But these are my preferences. I don't have insight into yours. I'm not saying not waiting is wrong. If you had bought the fancy desk and chair and massive 2TB SSD but had bought an FX, that I would have criticized on its face and said, yeah, you did it wrong.
My criticisms are really just choices I wouldn't make or recommend, but totally understand why someone else would.
In the end, you were doing your first build. That's special. I remember that. Nothing like it. And I don't know if you want to have a laptop. I don't know anything. Even as I sit here saying, "why not wait for Ryzen?" maybe if I'm in your situation I don't wait for Ryzen.
Most of all, I don't want to suck the wind out of your sail at all. Wasn't my intention. Nothing at all wrong with what you've done. I was just curious and sometimes have a pressing need to express my curiosity even if it is not nearly the most important contribution I could make, which is the case here, and which is why I characterized my second response the way I did.
Or maybe I'm jelly because I don't have $4K+ of gaming funds with which to make it rain.

Congrats RevvedUp, that's a nice custom pc! :-)
Thank you for the ride.

Congrats and enjoy that sweet PC! I am not gonna criticize you on the cable management, because mine doesn't look much better due to pure laziness ;)
Thank you for the train! :)

Well I needed a new pc really soon. current laptop was dying and college classes start again soon. But thats life Β―_(γ)_/Β―
Still looking forward to seeing how they turn out. It would be nice for AMD to really become more competitive again.

After what felt like an eternity of doing research, waiting for parts, and tightening what felt like a million screws it is finally done. My first true gaming PC setup is now up and running.
While it doesn't look all that pretty and isn't covered in fancy rgb, it has been very functional which is exactly what I wanted for my first build.
These are the parts that went into it in case you were wondering, along with some peripherals I already owned listed on there:
PCPartPicker part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/9bhRM8
CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Corsair H115i 104.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

Storage: Samsung 850 PRO 2TB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB FTW Gaming ACX 3.0 Video Card
Case: be quiet! Dark Base Pro 900 (Black/Orange) ATX Full Tower Case
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA G3 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Optical Drive: LG WH14NS40 Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer

Mouse: Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse Wired Laser Mouse
Mouse: Logitech G502 Wired Optical Mouse
Headphones: Sennheiser G4ME ONE Black Headset
Desk is an Arozzi gaming desk and the chair is a DXRacer Classic Series I got during the valentines sale.
Yes that is my bed on the right. My room is the size of a walk in closet :(
And in case you were wondering why the wires are a mess, the cabes I had to work with were really awkward in length. Some were way too short, others were too long and none were just right. I might get some custom cables at some point in the future, so if anyone can tell me whether those are worth it or not I'd love to hear what you have to say.
Well after reading through my crap I bet you're wondering where the celebratory gibs are. After all thats what you're REALLY here for right? Well here they are! http://www.sgtools.info/giveaways/2bc8382e-fd6d-11e6-96a2-fa163ee2f826
Just some bundled indiegala games with basic sgtools rules. Don't expect anything phenomenal, I did just drop about $4.5k into this setup
