So, recently I made a poll to find out, what browsers steamgifters use. I have to admit - I was only interested in one particular browser, Palemoon. According to that poll, there are 5 users who use either Palemoon (or Basilisk, which is different browser but very close relative of Palemoon). Well, it's not much, but nevertheless I want to share results of my work with those users. Recently I started to use Palemoon, because my PC at work was very old, and I've needed some browser that will be (at least slightly) less resource-greedy. But when I started to use it, I found out that it lacks some extensions I like. So I take some time to (back)port those extensions. Bad news is - they bought me a new PC at work, so I don't need to use Palemoon anymore, so those extensions probably won't be updated. But it's still better than nothing, right?
Augmented Steam
You probably heard about Enhanced Steam, and if you still using it on some modern browser you definitely should switch to Augmented Steam already, because Enhanced Steam is discontinued, and Augmented Steam is actively developed fork of it. Sadly, Palemoon does not support WebExtensions add-ons, so you can't use Augmented Steam out of the box. But you can use my fork: AugmentedSteamLegacy. It will not be updated, because next version of Augmented Steam uses some library that contains features, not supported on Palemoon, but if you will find that something does not work because of my "wrapper" for Palemoon - I may actually fix it. So feel free to report any bugs you have found! Also, I haven't setup auto-updates, so in (very unlikely) case I will make new version - you will have to get new version manually. Sorry about that.
Steam Economy Enhancer
If you are using steam for some time already, you may remember Steam Inventory Helper it's still available, but it was sold to owners of some shady steam casino site, so it's not considered safe anymore. Instead, if you are a user of modern browser, I recommend to use Steam Economy Enhancer. It's not an extension but a userscript, so you can always check it's source code to make sure it's safe. What could go wrong if it's userscript you may ask, doesn't Palemoon have an extension for userscripts? Well, it has. But this script seems to work only in Tampermonkey and Violentmonkey extension, but not in Greasymonkey. As you probably guessed already, Palemoon only has Greasymonkey addon. I failed to make this script compatible with Greasymonkey, but instead I turned it into an extension for palemoon : Steam Economy Enhancer Palemoon. It works somehow, and if original script will get updated, I promise to try to update extension too. But, the same as with Augmented Steam above, I haven't setup auto-updates (yet), so you will have to check for new versions, and update (if there is one) manually. If any updates will happen, I probably will add auto-updates too. Same as with Augmented Steam above, if you have found any bug caused by my wrapper - I will try to fix it, so don't hesitate to report about it.
I hope somebody (from those 5 users) will find it useful. Have a nice day!
