So that we can both then just buy one more copy of each game and play co-op.

Me: Bioshock 2, because I've never played it and that hurts my gaming credibility.

Friend: Borderlands 2 because he won't shut up about how Borderlands 1 is the greatest game of all time.

Enemy: The Darkness II. Hope it depresses him !

Bioshock 2 for me because im almost finished the first one, Duke Nukem for my firend because its terrible and I enjoy annoying my friends and The Darkness 2 for my enemy as all the violence will remind them its not good to have me as an enemy.

Friend - Civ V, so he can join me in the hundreds of hours that is Civ V!
Enemy - Borderlands 2, because it will give my enemy tons and tons of hours of fun gameplay, story, and characters, and will make him my friend because it's awesome!

Well, I don't have enemies, but if I had one, I'd give him the Civ V, so he'd never sleep again ("just one more turn..."). :P

Borderlands 2 for me, I've been too poor to buy it for myself and haven't played it yet. Civ 5 for my best friend, I know he doesn't have it and I've heard it's a great game. Duke Nukem Forever for my enemy, it seems the worst of the lot and you can buy it for cheap so I reckon it would make a pretty good dud gift!
