i never enjoyed star wars saga. I was like tf is this movie, what is this al about.
3 months ago i decided to watch whole saga on disney +
never watched better movie series.

So to anyone whos considering weatching it: go for it!

I can honestly say with time and retrospect each one gets less enjoyable in chronological order of release, but you know that's diminishing returns i guess. I might re-watch rise of sky walker because in that second half i really didn't understand what the fuq was going on. They totally lost me. Anyway, may the force be

Funnily enough, the first (and only) SW movie I've watched is The Last Jedi. I just went with friends who were fans. I had to guess some plot elements from context (since I hadn't watched the previous ones) but I thought it was an OK movie tbh, haha! Never got what people hated about it, but I guess because I'm not a fan of the franchise I wouldn't know much about it.

The first Star Wars movies I watched were the original trilogy. Followed by the Episodes I to III (Meh). I never got to watch all Episodes VII-IX, I think I just watched the first one or two (double Meh).

I might try to rewatch the whole saga at some point, right now I don't even know what's the order I should watch them, there's so much debate on that, including the "standalone" movies that serve as prequels or sequels or whatever and the recent series on Stream... 😓

The first trilogy (episodes IV, V and VI) is the best, the second trilogy (episodes I, II and III) is meh (Jar Jar Binks is so annoying) the last trilogy is horrible, Disney completely f*ed Star Wars and they haven't finished, this new tv show Acolyte is going to be the biggest pile of st ever produced...

My favourite is probably Return of The Jedi, because it's the culmination of the original series, and it's such a great story. It was such a groundbreaking series back in its day, too, especially for those of us who hadn't grown up with the rich movie history that came before it, so we didn't see the influences until much later.

Last minute bump.

Big Star Wars fan since childhood, saw original trilogy on TV randomly year by year. It immediately captured me. Fast forward to now: didn't watch Rise and Solo and going to. It's just a waste of time by now. They ruined everything. Might watch Mando some day. Seems decent, first season at least.

My hot take would be that Empire is least favorite from original trilogy, New Hope being at top.
