Okay so I traded for Take on helicopters (and the DLC) steam key the other day. It installed fine without the need of any other product code. However, when I launch the game it prompts me to enter multiple codes when the game prompts me to - one for the game and one for the DLC. Both these codes are different from the code I activated, and the game doesn't prompt me to enter the code, as they are alerady installed.

My Question - Does anybody know if these keys are valid, if I need them still and if i can trade them on or do a Giveaway.

Thanks

Well, I still didn't installed my copy, but when I checked the game in library, there is option to check CD-Keys. There are two keys (in format 4-5-5-5-5) - for ToH and another for ToH Hinds. I also have all DLC listed on my account so I guess it's ok.

As for second question - no, never, and I mean NEVER do a GA with key that you are unsure about. Not to mention, it seems like you will need this CD-Keys.

Well I would probably trade it if it was valid anyway. I really don't see why I would need them anyway, as both base game and DLC are clearly installed and there is no option to enter a product code.

Ehhh... Do you even understand what kind of keys they are? They won't work on steam. If you would check that CD Key tab you would see the explanation what are they for.

Oh okay..... I just find it strange how they've included them but they have no use whatsoever

Many games have them. For Mass Effect have a CD-Key that allows you to activate your game on Origin. Some other games also have pop-ups from steam at launch for this CD-Keys but I can't recall if I actually have to use them at least once.
In ToH I think that, maybe, when game was distributed on CDs it have CD keys as some kind of DRM, that wasn't removed when game was relased on steam.

Yeah. I've had them on other games, but I've actually had to sue them. Perhaps you're right.
