download was only around 13GB for me on steam! (23GB is after unpacking!)
dont know whether you can use the backup (try it and let steam check the files, steam downloads everything which is missing)

It might work, if anything you'll just have extra files from the pro edition, but steam will recognize you don't own them and will just leave them out of the game I'd think. the main files for the regular edition should still be there though, and it will automatically get anything missing when you verify the files

As title said, does anyone has any idea if it's possible?
Downloading 23 GB of data would take lots of time and my friend has a H:A - Professional edition backup, while I only own Standard edition. I wonder if it's possible that I restore from his Pro edition backup data for my Standard edition game.
