Damn, how many floppy disks do I need for that?

Well... assuming that the target capacity was actually 4GB

(1976) 9,532 110kb 5.25" floppy disks is roughly 1GB - multiply that by 4 = 38,128
(1978) 2,912 360kb 5.25" floppy disks x 4 = 11,648
(1982) 853 1.2mb 5.25" floppy disks x 4 = 3,412

(1984) 1,456 720kb 3.5" floppy disks x 4 = 5,824
(1986) 711 1.44mb 3.5" floppy disks x 4 = 2,844
(1987) 344 2.88mb 3.5" floppy disks x 4 = 1,420

... or thereabouts.

*Not accounting for 8" from 1971-1977, 3.5" Floptical (1991), 3.5" Superdisk (1996-1997), or 3.5" HiFD (1998-1999).

Can I get this in Laserdisc, I feel they'd be much more appropriate.

First, Laserdisc is an analog medium - so it's really not suited to the task at hand, but we can go down the road of estimation.

The Philips paper on this topic from 1976, which refers exclusively to the singles-sided CAV discs which were in pre-production stage at that time, quoting Goerge Kenney of Philips North America Laboratories:

"The videodisc contains 54 000 tracks of information with each track representing one frame of video. One frame of video contains 495 horizontal lines usable for data. An NRZ data rate of 7.16 Mbits/second will yeild a total of 374 stored bits per line. The total bits per track may now be calculated as the product of 375 bits per line times 495 lines or 185 625 bits/track. Utilizing all 54 000 tracks yields a storage capacity 10e10 bits per disc."

Ten-to-the-tenth-power bits is 10 Gb, or about 1.1 GB. So, theoretically 4 Laserdiscs.

I'm probably being a dummy but can someone please explain how you're supposed to download this stuff once you've added it to your account? Can't find it in GOG Galaxy.

Happy cake day Domazo, and thank you :)
