How many cats currently live with you?
Someone living on a farm maybe? Or someone with 2 or 3 grown up cats and a litter of kittens? ^^
Most we ever had was 16, I think - 3 grown-ups and 2 big litters

My other half's monster asshole feline. He looks super fluffy and all, but he doesn't like to be touched much (the vet said he was abused before they found him), so he can be a real asshole if you try to rub his fluffy belly. But he's still a nice cat and we love him very much

too bad :( My fluffy one sometimes demands I rub his belly, and he'd let me do it for hours if I wanted to (longest I did was about 40 minutes, then my arm got tired and I really wanted to do some other stuff)

On the extreme opposite, there's my sister's cat, who actually look a bit alike, but is very touchy touchy when HE desires. Like... If he determines it's time to get cuddled/rubbed, he's gonna let you know even it you're busy by first rubbing you and then coming to rub your hand even if you're doing something else like typing on the pc or whatever. Dare you not rub him when he demands or stop too early, he's gonna BITE your hand til you're back at it... I always feel like his slave even if it's nice to cuddle him. >__<

ha, mine licks me when he's hungry - like your sister's, even when I'm typing and using the mouse, he'll lick my hands, so I have to stop ^^ He doesn't bite though, when I stop cuddling too early he'll just catch my hand with his paws to put it back. (I should add I have another cat that usually doesn't care if you cuddle with her or not, she just always wants to be in a room with someone, then she's happy - if she gets cuddly, she wants something)

Weirdly, my sister's cat, even though he's the more cuddle-needy, is very independent. I guess because he's an outside cat, vs inside cat for the other. The one that doesn't let people cuddle him though, always wants someone in the room with him if he's not home alone. He'll just follow people around and then find a spot to nap wherever you settle.
