Wondering what games you already own from this bundle? There's an extension/ UserScript for that! It's called the RaChart™ Enhancer, created by my friend and fellow SG member Sighery!

This script enhances the charts by showing you which games you already own from the ones in it. If you own it, the row will be highlighted with a green color.

It's SEGA time! Will you get these games?

View Results
Yes. I'll pick and mix some games!
Nah. Pass
Meh. Idk
Well I have most or all of these games
Many people say that Sonic 3’s music sounds a lot like Michael Jackson’s music. This is because SEGA actually did ask the king of pop to record some tracks for the game.

They need to add Barbie: Super Model for Student.

Hey Rachel, thanks again for keeping us up to date! :-)
I wonder how do you get all the information about each game? (Price, average review, cards etc)
If it's some script you use, could it also include if the game has Achievements?
If you get all the info and make the table manually, don't worry about it ;-)

That's something that's been asked before, but will take time to implement. There's a lot of research, correcting, and making sure that the information is accurate, so I do a lot by hand. I listen to feedback and read through everyone's comments and go back to the charts and threads a lot of times. I know achievements are a desired addition but I can't give you a time frame of when they would be implemented.
Plus, sighery would have to update his extension tool for the RaCharts in accommodation of the change, so it's not as easy as "add another row" because it takes time and effort. We both have a lot going on in our daily lives, so we will get to your request as soon as time permits.

He knows already, as I've brought it up, but again, you will have to be patient if you wish to see this implemented. As for right now, the charts will remain how they are until further notice.

Thank you for the suggestion! I appreciate it. Stay tuned for good stuff in the future, it's in my agenda

People who are not buying this because they "have the roms"... I'm going to venture a guess and say that most of you did not legally purchase a license to play these games? Well, this is a chance to finally own these roms legally and have a full license for pennies per game, which you are then entitled to legally and defensibly use in your emulator of choice. The license here is what is of value, much like the Neo-Geo Humble Bundle package a while back.

By showing support for these sorts of retro games, it actually makes some sort of financial sense for companies to go through the process of re-releasing them. If you'd like to see some of your favorite classics (and not just SEGA games but console classics all across the board) get a shot at being officially distributed on the PC platform such that they will live on forever without having to break or change the law to keep them accessible, please consider showing your support.

sadly this is something that most people dont get

it is especially disheartening with packages done right such as Atari Vault when the main argument is "oh yeah, I can just download these games anyway for free"

people dont understand that just because a game is old its not suddenly freeware

Very well said! I'm glad to have a way to legally play these games, as I never owned a Sega Genesis. It's great to pick up some classics and finally get to experience them!

Fantastic timing! Got some games I've been itching to play again (and support their rerelease on other platforms) and got my bf some games he should enjoy playing.

So already have 16 of the titles so this seems like a good way of getting the rest

NZ$14.70ish(20 items for US$4.99*2) + NZ$4.99(other 4 titles from steam store - 75%) = NZ$19.69
From the steam store NZ$93.99 - 75% = NZ$23.50
So does workout cheaper than getting 'SEGA Mega Drive and Genesis Classics' on steam but hopefully it will be made into a steam bundle one day or be 80% off one day then that would be a cheaper option might wait until that happens

€1.79, €3.19, €4.59 respectively in the EU. (€1.61, €2.87, €4.13 with the voucher).
What would be the best recommendations for a newbie?
The only ones I own are those from the "Make War not Love 3" prizes, and the $1 tier of the Humble Sonic 25th Anniversary Bundle.

Damn... I was about to call it a day but after I saw your comment I'll better grab the 2 ToeJam & Earl games while they are still in stock, just in case. I guess those are probably the ones with the highest demand since they're missing from all collections.

Okay took the time to finally check through which ones I'm missing to see how many bundles I'd have to make (I've already got the ones that were bundled previously I think maybe others) and the bad news is .... I'm missing 41. Now how do I choose which one to leave behind?!?

Just check the steam store and take the ones you like to try - I did that and was perfectly happy with the 20 titles I selected :)

I had the exact same number of missing games. I decided to skip Columns III, both because it was the lowest rated and the kind of game I have little interest in playing.

Apparently the Sega Classics (the emulator) is dropping Steam trading cards now also

all my ASF bots stated farming for these. It looks like I'm not alone

Bump. Some of the info is relevant for the current offering, which is slightly cheaper and has a slightly smaller selection that excludes the more popular (e.g., Sonic, Ecco, ToeJam & Earl) games from last time around.

iirc the sound emulation isn't that great in the emulator Sega is using for these. Don't think it had any CRT shaders options built in either...
I have a few of these already that I got from another bundle, but will probably never go through them because free emulators are a better way to play them.

to be honest (but this is just my personal observation and admittedly im in no way a purist myself), the emulator, even the room hub one isnt all that bad, assuming you are not using a very low end rig to run it, as it puts those on their knees performance wise
