Went from paying 37,52€ per month for a 300/60 to paying 30,79€ for a 1000/100. No data caps btw...
And that of course equals more GAs for you guys ;)

Denmark be pricey...
How much you pay and for what speeds?

Paying about 20$ usd for 300/300. My parents are using a internet/TV/phone pack, used to pay like 55$ and the service wasn't that good, so a few calls and now it's 37$. Better than nothing i guess

I'm currently playing ~$55 USD a month for 13Mbps/1.5Mbps. Yep, that is abysmal, but it's the only thing I can get in rural Idaho. :-/

Wow, I just did my post then saw this. I thought mine was bad, but that's horrendous. Maybe look into Starlink internet? A bit of a high up front cost, but it has much faster speeds and can be set up anywhere on Earth.

I have, but Starling requires a clear view and I'm told that we'd likely lose the connection during storms which isn't acceptable as I need 99% uptime. Thanks for the suggestion though. :-)

waves Hello! I'm surprised to encounter another Idahoan here. For quite some time I was convinced that I was the only Idahoan that played computer games.

That's quite the nice price. I checked and yousee doesn't even come close to that, although it's in your speedtest as the provider.

Got any tips on how to get them to lower prices for better internet? I pay your current price for 100/25.

I've been a Yousee customer for many years so don't know if that factors in?
All I did was call them and say I was thinking about changing to Hiper, Yousee Support did try and get me to choose one of their much smaller connection (to save money) but I stood my ground and got what I wanted :D

Hiper is even owned by yousee, so that's quite baffling they'd cave and give you a better connection for a better price. Well done, all the same. I wish I could get anything close to resembling that :P

Seriously, spanish internet is balls, and yet we're still somehow better than others, so I guess we can't complain.

25 MBit/s so not so fast. Don't know the correct price at the moment. Think roughly ~25€.

Company regularly made offers more speed for a bit more but I don't feel like I need more so prefer saving the money.

Dang, everyone seems to have super fast internet for cheap.

Mine is $65/month (USD) for 100/10.
My location only has two ISPs available. The other one I could get slightly better speeds for slightly cheaper, but their customer service sucks, they have a data cap, and they increase prices after the first year.

My price with my current ISP is locked in, they have great service, and there's no data usage cap. Plus our speed is sufficient 99% of the time even with several people with several devices each using the internet at once :)

damn. that's quite a jump. don't you need to have some very specific hardware to handle the 1000/100?

All I have and been using for ~a year now, is a 'Sagemcom fast 3890v3', that I got for free from my ISP.

Cool. In Brazil, all ISP uses the one that fits best of what you pay... sometimes less because they tell you the speed you're paying is reachable only thru cables... always less, nothing more.

900/500 for NZ$109/month, but that's what happens when almost all the data into and out of your country goes through one monopoly cable provider. :/

If it makes you feel better, that's not much higher than mine (after converting NZD to USD) for significantly higher speeds. Not as low cost as a lot of European providers listed, but still way better than US providers.

$109/mth is a little on the high side these days - even Spark has dropped their price to $100/mth, and that includes Netflix. Skinny is currently doing 6 months free on a 12 month contract, too, if you don't mind switching to save a fair bit.

My ISP are the extortionists in my case. There is only one provider for high speed internet in my neighborhood, and they know it. They refuse to offer internet service without bundling it with cable tv. I'm not going to say how much they are charging me, but I will say that it is my 2nd highest expense after rent. My only other option is DSL, which is not an option at all since I work from home and need higher speeds.

If you don't mind me asking, what is the DSL provider for your area (if you're in the US)? I use DSL, and I still get 100Mbps download, and in some areas they have gigabit available.

It had been AT&T for DSL here, which I had previously and had a lot of reliability issues with. I checked just now to see if they have improved their offerings since I checked last, and found that they no longer offer service here at all. So that's no longer an option even if I were willing to switch back.

Yeah, I have heard some bad things about AT&T. I have Centurylink, and they're pretty good. Of course if they're not available, that doesn't help, especially if they don't offer fast enough speeds.

No, CenturyLink doesn't operate in my state. Comcast/Xfinity is literally the only game in town for me right now. The speeds and reliability have been great, but 💸💸💸

9€
Originally I got this amazing price as a 3 years deal and it is about to expire in a few months. I would not be surprise if they offer a renewal like at a double price.
