I feel like something big has been done by IGN behind the scenes. Like firing most of the people who curate the bundles, or slashing the operating budget for them by 90%. God knows what plans they have; the only thing that is clear is that it sucks for HB customers (which was always going to be the case, of course).

While I agree that bundle frequency (and arguably quality) has taken a hit since the IGN acquisition, I think we may also be seeing the emerging reality of the Steam refund policy and the reluctance of developers to have their games bundled two weeks before, during, or two weeks after a major Steam sale.

I haven't purchased a bundle above the $1 tier since mid-October. There have been so many weeks since then with either no bundle at all, a console-only bundle, or a software bundle, and the weeks that do have PC game bundles have been seeing more and more repeat games, especially Monthly bundle repeats. For crying out loud, Indie Bundle 19 had 6 Monthly repeats!

That's only true if you bought something in the Steam Sale, though. Those who bought nothing got exactly what they just bought in the Steam Sale and they even paid exactly the same price, hehe. That being said, I almost made it trhough the Steam sale without buying anything ... well, almost.

What I bought? Perils of Man And a DLC for FX3, because those aren't sold anywhere outside Steam. At least, I had enough in my Steam wallet from selling free cards, so I didn't have to spend any real cash on that sale.
