Different group of people entirely. The team behind Viking Conquest is a very small group, they were also responsible for the absolutely brilliant Brytenwalda mod.

Well it was supposed to come out winter quarter 2016 originally, but they have not announced a date. I regularly visit the forums and the team has been tight-lipped there, too. We can hope for early 2017 though fingers crossed.

Heck yeah! i cant wait to dive deep into it once again! this time without being a scary kid and playing it on easy... and maybe finally deep into the online and mods (yep i have 150 hours and havent touched online nor played any mods)

I watched some videos on YT about the game. I like how you can craft weapons exactly to your needs. Mixing all the elements, hilts/pommels/crossguards. Modifying sizes. And it all affects the weigth and stuff. In other words, the hype has affected me.

PoP is one of the few "recommended" mods I haven't played. I just kind of burnt out on all the mods after awhile, especially ACOK when it keeps being updated. Not that I should complain about that, though:).

One of my favorite gifs. Surprisingly appropriate for many Warband related situations:). I also doubt I'll be able to afford the game when it comes out, unless I just forego buying bundles for a couple months, which isn't really hard to do so long as I have enough games to give away to avoid going "into the red"in my groups:P.

Hopefully they let good modability and great new features to the game. Really loved Prophecy of Pendor modpack for the Warband. But really would have been awesome to play it with a friend for example.
One of the games I will keep close eye on, hopefully it will be a great successor.
