Where to spend $5 credit from amazon?

I myself love horror and cult stuff. I just bought Suspiria and the Twin Peaks boxset from Amazon.

How can you tell if you even have credit? I got quite a few emails from Amazon about credit.

If you're referring to the Editor's Choice vouchers, you can only spend those on games listed as Editor's Choice picks throughout this month. They're not good for anything else.

If you mean the credit that they gave for buying games in Xmas you can spend it only on the Editor's Choice promotion games.

I think that you're referring to the 5$ credit that you got from buying something during X-Mas sales on Amazon, don't you?
In that case no, you can just spend that credit on the Editor's Choice Game List :)

Ace Patrol, Foul Play and How to Survive look like they're the gems of this Editor's Choice. Too bad I already got How to Survive for $3.50 at Ubisoft :(

Is there a way to check which games will be added? Or will current games be replaced by the new ones? I ask this to know when it's safe to buy a game without the risk of another "more desirable" one coming.

I got Bioshock Infinite for $8.20 with my credit. The lowest it went in the Steam sale was $9.99.

Also, XCOM collection was on sale for $9.99 many many times and this time is $14.99, with $5 credit, it is $9.99. What is the point waiting for EC games.

Ace Patrol Pack was a no-brainer at $1, looking to get Contrast on the 10th for $7.

Brothers will be a must-buy at $3. Would jump on it if I didn't already have it.

This promo refuses to work for me.

I spoke with Zuhairah from Amazon chat support who could not help me apply that 5 USD promo balance to any of the items on the Editor's Choice 2013 page.

She referred me for phone support to someone higher up, a guy whose thick Indian (euro) accent made it very difficult to understand what he was saying. Caller ID says Seattle, Washington state, but that's of course a lie by Amazon.

The man from Seattle suggested that I purchase anyway and that he issue a 5 USD refund to my payment source, but I'm not waiting a week to see my money returned.

I'd still like to know how to use this promo. Despite that email saying that the promo is automatically applied at checkout, it is not.
