The honest answer? If you actually want a game and intend to play it, you'll know that you don't own it yet. =) There isn't a method.
Been too tired to go through the thread this evening to see if I have anyone's wished for games, but will do so tomorrow. The hope is that they're asking because they're the games they most want to play out of all they have entered for over the past year. So, that's what your requests should be.
