Is humble monthly worth buying for you?
The early access to the main game that seems to never get bundled.

Not all. Plus Shantae got rebundled for the 3ds, not steam, and I think Titan Souls and Grimm Fandango got bundled on tier3. I can't forgive them for GRAV, though.

Have all been added to a bundle after being in humble monthly, and can usually be gotten for less than $12.
Good luck finding a bundle with multiples from the same monthly - we can of course wait a few weeks and pick up most of the monthly's content, but please, don't compare a single game appearing in an okay bundle's BTA to the usually outstanding monthly in terms of content. It's just useless, at least divide down the price with the game's numbers or something..
for example Mushroom 11 is in ~5$ BTA, and was in a 12$ monthly. You know what's not in Eye Candy Bundle? The other 5 games from the monthly. Don't try to compare two things that are so different - the 5$ and the 12$ bundles are not comparable because they have totally different contents.

The one in the monthly is Shantae and the Pirate's Curse, not Shantae: Risky's Revenge Director's Cut

The way they work, monthly bundles are just a gamble, and you're really buying them blind, except for one highly-sought-after game that's shown beforehand, and that probably won't be bundled again too soon.
So, ultimately, it all comes down to this simple question: would you buy the main game at $12 (or $10.8 with voucher)?
The only time I actually wanted to buy a monthly was for the last one (April monthly), but I didn't have enough money at the time :(

All the expensive games have been more than enough to be worth the price, it also has the benefit of discovering games I didn't know I wanted. Like Chroma Squad. It's really not much considering the combined price of all the games in each bundle, even considering some games get bundled cheaper later.

It's just a small percentage that gets rebundled later (at least that's the pattern I see), one or two good games makes up for other shitty games, it's like finding a gold nugget on a toilet, like this recent one, for me it was already worth for Mad Max, and I really doubt it will get bundled so soon.

Risky's Revenge is also in the newest Humble Bundle ... I think that's why it was brought up. But it's irrelevant anyway.

It seems like so far, a lot of the humble monthly games have been rebundled about a month later.
Just off the top of my head:
Grav
Grimm Fandango Remastered
Mushroom 11
Titan Souls
Dropsy
Towerfall Ascension
A Fistful of Gun
Have all been added to a bundle after being in humble monthly, and can usually be gotten for less than $12.
It seems like you can get the games for cheaper if you're just willing to wait.
I'm thinking of canceling my subscription after seeing this pattern.
Thoughts?
