Well, look at those entries and check out how many people entered for them and you can see how big your chances were. I'd say you're far from cursed.

It takes most people roughy 1000 entries to win something but that also depends on how many entries the GAs you enter have.
But good on you for only entering what you're going to play... most of us start out by entering everything and only get more selective over time.

You mean you entered 102 giveaways? I would say that this is perfectly normal. I've won my first GA after almost a week after registration, you're here only two days :). Sure, sometimes people win right away, but if there's like 1000 people taking part in one giveaway (and it's usually around this number, at least public, lvl 0 giveaways), then that's exactly your chance 1 of 1000, not 1 of 100 ;).

As far as I noticed, average winning chance is about 0,05 - 0,1% per public lvl 0 giveaway, so statistically you win 1 every 1000-2000 enters.

yea i been reading stuff on here.. i actually found out jade empire was free for a limit time on here.. which was nice. lol
i just see people winning a lot of here to the thousands of dollars and then there me lolol

Well, most of the time those people had registered here long time ago and usually they have higher levels (which mean they not only receive, but also give something to this community :)). Also, there are some groups giveaways or private ones, where chances of win are usually bigger.

yea im too poor to do giveaways right now. :( m only on here to try out games like overlord 2 and grid and maybe paydays 2. just the simple games nothing fancy.

That's fine, I completely understand it :). But if you have Steam Cards you may sell them and buy some cheap, yet still good game on Steam sales (Winter is coming :>). You only need to do one giveaway to access first level and from my own perspective, I usually prefer to create giveaways for level 1 or even higher, just because those are usually users who knows how everything works and are more reliable than some new ones that may not mark received gift or try to regift something :). Also, look under "Group" giveaways, if you're in one.

After you enter 1000-2000 giveaways you should win at least once. If you don't win after hitting 2000 - then probably you are really unlucky.

I registered here 7th of August 2014, won my first game on the 15th of October. Sometimes it takes it's time. And patience. Patience is the key to many things in life.

soooo pretty much, im going to have to be very lucky to win anything on here. kind of like winning 10,000 at a casino.. lolol well ill see you guys in one year time. hopefully by then ill win like 5 games xD

If a game gets 600 entries you have 1/600 chance to win it.
I've seen people trying thousands of times without luck. Luck is the only factor here.

As you already figured out, it takes a bit of time to win games. Of course a lot of people would try and win free games, would they not? :D
But frankly, games are just a bonus.

102 games. all pretty much overlord rasing hell and overlord 2 and grid 1/2 and such. but i havent won a single thing yet... lol is this normal or am i just cursed? LOL those are the only games a really want to try out on here.
