A micro-managing/simulation/realistic semi-X4 strategy survival game in post apocalyptic scenario . . . In other words just whatever I'm currently working on but with an actual team. XDD

Ok, a racer with:
-Racing Wheel Support
-H Shifter Support
-Open World
-Cockpit View
-No bugs
-Car customizing down to you can choose which seats you want
-cops
-multiplayer
-sticker shops where you sticker everything
-- including a "spray" mode
-branded cars

I would like to see how THAT sells in Game Dev Tycoon :)

EDIT: And not published by a company called Atari

I had this idea when a mouse was running around my living room this weekend:

Its basically a combination of a platformer/survival horror game with rodent SimCity. You have to survive, breed, and take over places (garage, house, apartment complex, luxury tower, etc).

I'd forgotten about that game, but kind of. I could see it switching between a SimAnt-style and more of a rodent parkour game. Mice are incredibly nimble. So, maybe SimAnt meets Mirror's Edge with mice.

I would create a game based mostly on exploration. It would be a survival game taking place in a huge environment. Ammunition would be - really - scarce, encounters would be very rare but... challenging.

Environments would be procedurally-generated in order to create that feeling of "not made by the hand of man".

Imagine some kind of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game but on FUEL's map for instance and you'll get an idea of what I'd like to see put in a game.

To sum up :

  • survival game with high difficulty
  • huge, procedurally-generated environment

Another idea i had was a XCOM game but in reverse, you are the aliens, you start attacking the planet with superior weapons and soldiers, but with the pass of the days the humans develop and steal your tecnology making the game harder and harder, and you have the goal to beat the XCOM before they defeat you :D

I like that idea! Put a background like, your planet was been destroid and the only another habitable planet it's already occupied by a high xenofobic species (Humans?) so you need to conquer it in a time or your own specie start dieing from the lack of resources inside your mothership, so you also have maybe to go in missions to steal resources like water, food and oxigen from the planet while trying to conquer it!

Mmmmh sounds nice indeed, you could try to even do some "diplomacy" but the humans always want to go to war, maybe mix it a little adding the possibility to travel to several planets where the guys you going to conquer have different strategies and "powers", at the same time having your own people every time more and more weak making the game more difficult if you take too much time to conquer :D

A massive RPG with no invisible walls, plenty of movement/dialog/progression options, assorted trees for different skills and skill types (inclusive of trees within trees for specialized play styles), and multiplayer available (not MMO, but similar). And more than anything, an actual evolving world that reacts to your choices/actions in a number of different ways

A game about a group of people that have modified their DNA in such way they have included all the possible genetic variations of the human genoma in each of their pairs; allowing them to merge with anybody by simply touching him/her, without possible rejection.

You would be able to merge with the AI by simply making your character touching it, with his/her finger (or WHATEVER they enter in contact with) "struck" in the other's skin.

The group is sent to infiltrate a gov agency. The protagonist is alone to open the main gate using one of the employees. He gets discovered and is shot dead. What he didn't know is that a "backup" of his mind was made in the employee he was controlling. Tries to uncover who are these guys they are trying to steal this data from now that nobody knows he's even still alive, and realises the guy that contracted them was counting on him merging completely with this other guy, as a test bed for "something big".

When it comes to gameplay, you could be able to use any other character by touching it in order to solve puzles and advancing the plot. Later, he would get a weapon he would be able to send probes with to connect without entering in contact.

It would also have a lot of stealth elements, a la MGS or DEUS EX HR.
(I know it may sound stupid, I just came up with the idea :P)

EDIT:___

Also, it may be very RPG-like, with a lot of choices and a conversation system (between DXHR's and Mass Effect's, with difficulty levels so you can know what option generates what reaction or not, in the Options menu). And with at least 7 very different endings depending on the curse during the story.

You would have the option to either avoid fighting or adopting a military's body in most locations and open fire, also counting as an option where you are making people rise against the gov, for example.

And a remix of The Safety Dance as main theme. lol

EDIT 2:_____

The campaign would be at least 40 hours long, and you could have the option to modify your character without limits using a molding tool (something similar to ZBrush) and add atributes to him.

These atributes would give place to a lot of different gameplay options, you could also even add one that allows you to make crystals explode, even of the enemies' GLASSES!!

Also, you would be able to kill ANY NPC, even if they are also main characters, each loss would affect the story VERY DIFFERENTLY.

You would have the option to create maps and share them online; and enable them to be played by a group of people instead of SP, each one with his custom atributes.

EDIT 3:_____

Also, you may even unlock an atribute that would allow you to merge with computers, opening a gate to a whole new ending and plot.

A first person survival game. Where you can create your own sort of person that ventures out or crashes into the unknown. You have to find stuff out yourself and watch out for the enviorment and animals and such. Finding like mushrooms without knowing what they do. Do they neeed to be eaten raw, cooked? And you will remember the stuff what you did. Unless you got a charachter that is forgetfull. then you could lose some information unless you like.. write it down on a big rock or something. You know with a smaller stone. It is possible to die from a lot of things.. But if you know how survival TV series goes.. Then it is sorta like that but more open and no camera crew with secret supplies

There will be different places to survive too. Like the desert of a really big forest. Making your own equipment. You get more skilled with creating the equipment the more you do it. Your newly crafted weapon could break in one swing. But after you get more experienced then it will be easier. You might even find stuff that other people left behind. You could use it or break it down to get extra items to play around with. And you can't stay in a spot for too long. If you get all the food and needed items then it will run out. You have to keep moving.

I would make a game that is an rpg, because I think everyone has at least played one rpg when they're young, and this sort of pure fun and enjoyment is kindda hard to find now.

The RPG will be a first person rpg, with classic classes such as mage and warriors, archers and assassins.
The RPG will go along the lines of classic story-mode / open world dungeon kind of games that are randomly generated everytime you enter a dungeon, so no two runs are the same.
Maybe there'll also be co-op mission that requires stealthing or specific objectives, which require combinations of skills from different players to achieve.
The characters will each have their own skill tree, to specialise in either elements or playstyle that suit them the most.
For example, the mages can either go with elemental builds or spacetime distortion, while warriors get to pick strong up-front battle style or a slightly weaker build that focuses on weapons like spears that provide more range. Assassins can either go with stealth-backstab build that keeps them out of sight and provide huge damage bonus when attacking from behind, or agility builds that allow them to move like the wind.
The game also will be slightly loot based, so to make tough raid bosses worth the effort of the players.
Compulsory missions will include missions that require solving of puzzles, racing(on like, cars or wagons), tower defence (like defending a base or VIP from harm) and other random minigames that make this game somehow an 'all-in-one' game.

A swarm strategy game (not sure of the genre name). Think Eufloria. In my game I would play as a colony of bees that needs to contend for resources with other colonies. There are a few mechanics that I think could make it cool.

  • Bees need to gather resources so you can gather more resources at a cost of your colony's defenses since less bees will be around at a given time.
  • Super enemies like japanese hornets that can single handedly take out a hive and require you to marshal bees from your entire colony to handle. Alternatively don't try to fight them and instead try to stay one step ahead of them or send them to an enemy.

I don't know where I've seen it, but I saw a japanese hornet attacking a bee hive in a tv show. That's a strategy game I would love to play in a multiplayer session with some friends.

I would build a new Rollercoaster Tycoon. No 3D Graphics like RCT3, it would be more like RCT2 with a kind of modern optic but it would keep the old flair. I would implement some new features like an Online Mode where different people build parks and people go to the best park etc.

I would do a 2-player graphic adventure, in wich you use a guy and a girl wich have to cooperate to solve the puzzles, interrogate different people and so on. The game would be a competitive/cooperative, in wich the most important thing is to get to the solution, but who gets there first (or closer) will gain more points. The two players cannot comunicate with any external device (no chats, no mics), but instead letting the characters speak to each other.
And well...yeah, just an idea.

A game where you are a house cat with intentions to rule the world...the object of the game is to sneak around sabotaging various governments with your feline wiles, eventually taking them over as a shadow government. Wage war with unsuspecting countries and eventually take over the world, round up all the pugs (and dogs by extention) and detonate several flash bangs, rendering them useless in their rebellion. At the end of the game a screen pops up saying "You've just been Pug Flashed!"

It's an rpg game. You are an alien and control humans like pets, and train them to fight each other to the death. You'll have to take care of them, shom them hope, kindness and be a good "trainer". You can capture fishermans (fighting with fishing rods), Ninjas (kunais), Cops (Guns), Nerds (using computers), Presidents (diplomacy), etc. You have to be the human trainer number one! Gotta catch them all (humans).

No, sry, I have no imagination for that...

A "casual" RPG game with a storyline that's been on the back of my head for years now.

I'd like to build something that you can just pick-up an play whenever you feel like it, à la Battleheart, but with an actual storyline and real character development.
