It would be a MMO city creation game. Where a group of friends can get together and plan a city from scratch. No one person has power to waste the city's money as it would essentially be a beauracracy simulator, but with the ability to change everything in a city, travel around it, buy a house with your own wages etc.

I would make a game where it literally mindfucks the players with new impossible theories about reality, a bit like Bioshock Infinite's ending, except throughout the whole game. I have a few in mind and all mostly come from the dreams I have (they tend to be quite weird actually). Like once I had a dream where there are multiple 'us' in our world that never met, simply because it's not part of their destiny. I would grab this idea and make a video game out of it. :3 And since I'm going to college soon (video game design) I plan to put these ideas into practice.

I'd make an FPS (wait, don't kill me yet!) with some awesome twists; The story would be a large focus, and I'd include a mobility system a la Mirror's Edge or Tactical Intervention. There'd be multiple approaches to each level, so for example, you could rappel in through the skylight guns blazing, or sneak in using some conveniently placed vents. I'd also feature a procedurally generated game mode where you have to escape from inside a randomised prison/base.

A regular guy decides to be a super dude. Huge open-world city to explore to find necessary people (like a mad scientist or a gun tech) to gain abilities. To pay for them you can get a job, sell hats or rob a bank, choice is yours. Nothing to guide you. You can either be a mutant with laser beams or just a guy with a future tech gun. No missions, no experiences. You can do whatever you want, however you want. Critical point is customization, must be like unlimited.

I would make the game 'The Three Little Pigs'. Its about 3 pigs and a d... duck. So the duck is trying to escape the 3 pigs so it won't be a dinner for them and they have many adventures together. The end will be rated for 18+ only.

I never get tired of ragdolling people in video games. Sometimes its even funnier when the ragdoll effects aren't well done. It makes for ludicrous animations.

I will create a rpg with extensive super long story lines.

Imagine you can have nearly infinite stories created under this game. Each time you play it is completely refreshing and with multiple, routes, endings that changed randomly. You can name your character, create specific relationship and let the game engine works it out.

For example you can have a 40% romance in story, 15% adventuring, 10% tragedy, 35% comedy.

The coding of the game will be created in multiple story block, which can be a stand-alone story. But when the player picks the percentage of their adventures, these stand-alone story can be combined together and create extraordinary experience.

A RPG/Hack & Slash game with Dragon Age 2 combat, Skyrim map and exploration, Dragon Age:Origins skill and character build system, a lot of legendary fantasy weapons, awesome stealth system ( you can finish the game without any enemy see you ), with an HARDCORE mode that makes the game as hard as Dark Souls. My dream game, my future plan.

Well first off i would recreate duck hunt where this time around when the dog comes up you can kill it and never have to listen to the laugh again well that is if you can hit it.

  • Anyway on to the original question, I would create a game where you get to chose your own style of play from rpg, to racing to building a city, or starting wars with rpgs and race cars. It would have the feel of Saints Row, Golden Sun, NFS, Civilization, Torchlight 2, all built into one. As great as it sounds it would turn out to be complete crap sense well I designed it.

A sandbox, free roaming, role playing game in which you are a character in a vast strategy game controlled by the AI.

In the beginning you are born to your tribe. The strategic AI will be influenced indirectly by your decisions. For instance, your tribe may send you on missions to explore areas, and upon reporting back that area will have the fog removed temporarily, allowing it to decide whether to expand in that direction. Hostile actions you commit may negatively or positively impact your relation with your starting or neighboring tribes. Guarding settlers migrating to a new home would positively impact, and could potentially expand the reach of the tribe.

As it is free roam, you are free to contact other tribes. Perform missions for anyone, murder anyone. Wipe out a tribe and be hounded to the death by their allies. Frame enemies and laugh at the mayhem. Become a highway man, and rob caravans. Retire to become a bodyguard and kill all your former vagabond friends.

Upon the death of your character, the game does not end. Instead you are reborn into a new character several years after the death of the previous. A hereditary system can be put in place for dynasties (just remember to have some offspring before you kick it), or you can be dropped into someone random. Alternatively, when starting a new world, you could opt to disable player character aging and death. Have your character forever wandering the earth, yearning for a long forgotten age, always an outcast and never beholden to a lord or faction.

As the game progresses, tribes will turn into villages, clubs into swords, horses into cars. Each faction will have it's own research level, and goods purchased from those factions will be at that level of technology. Imagine being the first explorer to arrive in Proxima Centauri, and find a huge alien trading center willing to upgrade your ship in exchange for a few errands. Then come back to Earth, sell newly acquired technology to scientists and watch as one faction attempts to obliterate the others with the neutron cannon you just sold them.

This concept will lend itself well to both single and multiplayer, to both fantasy and realistic. In multiplayer I envision game worlds lasting two years from stone age to space age.

Expansion packs could be made to allow for interstellar gameplay.
Additional expansion packs could allow for actual strategic level gameplay, additional technologies, adversaries, terrains, magic (Imagine playing this in Arcanum's universe).

Well you may have been in piggie chat on the few occasions that I discussed my TBS Space Combat game, but if I had a whole team and enough resources I'd work on a much larger project. I'd love to create an open-world rogue-like action RPG, quite probably involving robots. I really like the idea of a robot being able to change one of its arms or legs, or head. Humanoid robots changing parts would be much cooler than putting on a +5 hat of spellcasting.

I'll create a game where you play the role of a teenager who is starting to show signs of schizophrenia. It'll start of mild with only vague sounds, progressing to voices and eventually visual hallucinations. At first you realize you might be getting crazy but later on you find it difficult to tell the difference between your hallucinations and reality, wondering whether it is different at all. You try to run from you hallucinations to reality, but end up running from one, to the other, and back again as you go through your episodes. You get chased by your demons, as well as your concerned parents. Later on you're being chased by authorities who wants remove the psycho from society.

A game where you can play as a selection of animals who reside in a zoo, and of course the goal is to ultimately escape.
Each animal will have a unique control scheme, and the game will be extremely open ended.
You can either choose to free all the other animals in the zoo once you find a way out, a few of them, or none of them. It's also up to you whether to stealthily break free without detection, or harness your rage and massacre every human in the zoo (depending on which animal you pick).

The next part of the game would have you roaming across a large map with lots of urban settlements, where you must scavenge for food and avoid capture.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

so its only a binary choice of free or leave alone? can you instead choose once you've broken free to return to the zoo and infiltrate the other animal's cages and devour them to build strength for your urban adventure? ;P

Comment has been collapsed.

Yay criticism =D
I didn't really think about that in my 3 minute brainstorm, lol. Since it's an open world game no place is off-limits, so yeah you would be able to return to the possibly massacred zoo. And if you wanted, the game could be played just by staying in your exhibit and eating what the zoo employees feed you, but that would be kinda boring. So 3 major choices?

I would really like to make an in-depth combat system so in theory, any animal can be 'hunted', even those in the zoo, but if you've chosen to be a lynx and you are in the middle of a confrontation with a bear, running is your only surefire way of survival :)

It's kind of a weird idea... but it's a game I'd love to play.

A game much like DLC Quest or Evoland in scope and execution, only for 3D. You'd start with simplistic polygonal graphics and work your way to highly detailed systems and mechanics.
