PAYDAY 2: Should i buy it?

The game is full of DLC crap don't buy it.

I would say it depends.

I played Payday: The Heist since the beginning and as soon as Payday 2 came out I joined the beta and bought the 4-pack criminal edition.
I loved the game so much, I even created a guide on steam for the possible secret which was a HUGE HIT in the first game.

Over time the game became mehh
After one of the patches I couldn't even keep my connection to other hosts and was stuck doing solo stealth missions.

The game was and still is to some extent extremely fun but the devs totally ruined it with DLCs and micro transactions.
Truth is you don't even need 1% of the DLCs to have fun and try out stuff with your friends but if you plan on doing challenges and achievements it's gonna be really tough without dedication and money.

The tougher missions have basically turned into HORDE MODE, where you just fight a constant onslaught of police officers.
To the extent that their numbers now provide for funny moments filled with laughter and frustration.

Most of the DLC's you can get in bundles or in giveaways from Steam groups that support and play Payday 2 for free, if you really want to have them.

TL;DR -- Gameplay

The game was turned from a brilliant co-op heist simulator to a golden money generating geese with huge amount of DLC's and micro transactions where the gameplay has been turned into HORDE wave survival.
HARDER means more enemies with bigger guns not challenging AI paths and stealth positioning.

TL;DR -- Buy or not???
Get the game if you wanna joke around and have some fun with friends.
If you want to be good and high ranked player you'll need to invest a LOT of TIME and apparently now MONEY too.
The future of the game is not promising when you look at it's past and how it stands now.

Buy Killing Floor 2 instead, better Co-Op and better business practice. Still bad business practice though.
