That "knowledge" isn't as common as you might think. Majority of people abide by the traditional definition of "Gender is the range of physical, biological, mental and behavioral characteristics pertaining to, and differentiating between, masculinity and femininity."
Just because someone made a wiki page doesn't mean it's universally accepted information.

It's not a matter of opinion whether the genders exist, since anyone can define their own gender as they please. Another thing is then if others accept it or not, but that isn't required. I posted the link just for info about the different genders. I know some people dealing with these things.
I see it this way: regardless of how I personally feel about it (for example a common thought might be that "I'll always consider this person male/female because he was born that way"), if someone sees their gender differently, it should be respected. It's their business, not mine.

"anyone can define their own gender as they please" actually since theres nothing "science" to back it up as undeniably interpreted that way that sentence there very much is a matter of opinion.
(its like saying it isn't a matter of opinion if your god(s) exist just because so many agree and hinduism has a wiki)
just a handy guideline...when you're using phrases like "I see it this way" "regardless of how I personally feel" or " its none of my business if they see it differently it should be respected" you're talking opinion rather than fact.
purely objectively the only 2 "real" genders are male and female. That page is nothing more than a list of societal constructs(which exist because we currently define gender roles so narrowly people feel they don't belong and get pushed out to form their own group which sucks)
Just because there are girls that chase girls or men who feel uncomfortable having a penis doesn't make them an alternate male gender(aka lesbians are women too. try telling one she isn't) or alternate female or third type gender or whatever. like how celibate monks or unichs are still male its not a use it or lose it situation.
take asexual for example(were they even on your list?) there is a wide range of disagreement on what exactly that even is. is demisexual its own thing or are they just asexuals that sometimes have sex/feel attracted to specific individuals? do asexuals feel a sexual alignment with just a muted sexdrive? things like that. Even their main group is unable to agree and kinda handwaves it as "fuck it if you want to identify with us you're welcome to just don't go about interrogating people and asking too many questions"
and last I heard androgeny is more of a humanist movement where "whats it matter what gender i am in day to day life we're all just people and should be treated as such" associated with certain styles of dress and mannerisms wholly independent of sexuality. why is that considered its own gender on the wiki? is vegan or french to be a gender then? or did somebody smoosh it together with asexual to make an entry? that page of "common knowledge" has all the inconsistencies generally associated with a smaller wiki community unable to reference solid facts for structure.
it looks like much of their doctrine is the result of somebody walking away form an edit/revert war rather than actual consensus in the community and if they can't even agree how is anybody else meant to? women as a gender is solid. masculine cisqueer twospirit not so much...besides there simply aren't enough days for all that lol
although personally i agree with you as far as "if they like calling themselves [insert variable] gender...shrug, why argue"

No there isn't.
You either are:

Sex and gender are very, very different things and even then, it's becoming accepted that there is a legitimate third sex.

Half the things on that wiki say they are a third sex because men or women are acting like the other sex. The correct answer to sex is "yes please". All of it is ultimately for government handouts and benefits, for acting. Putting on jeans does not make a female sex an alternate male sex.

hermaphrodites don't count(well i guess hermaphrodites could make a case, but they're basically mutants, and i think alot of them opt for one or the other with surgery. what are they chromosome wise? i forgot if that mattered or if it was a eutero hormonal thing)

it is not international women day. it is International Working Women's Day so it is for women that are worthy to have day not OTHERS.
And it is a socialist day to praise working women not capitalist day to priced women something and buying them something.
This is my opinion.

Women day, mother's day, igotboobs day etc. But when comes about the man... I barely hear anyone talk about father's day or man day(dont even know if there is one).
But i forgot, we are pigs and phallocrats...It will come a day were men will fight for equality, like women did years ago(and still do just to make a fuss).
Thanks for the giveaways alien.

I think it is unfair as well.
Really should be a prostate cancer awareness month. Or if there is one already, it just be more known.

but also mother's day women's day brestcancer month and valentines day. and i think maybe others. The only solution is to make superbowl weekend official add a prostate month and make steak and blowjobs day not a joke(maybe with a better name) ;D
