Won gift but asked creator to select new winner.

I have won a gift, - SpaceChem, however for some reason not 24hrs ago I won another SpaceChem gift!
So basically I've got in touch with the giveaway creator and asked him to select a new winner, however the giveaway is still in my won section and I'm still being asked to select if I've received the gift. Will this go away as I don't want the gift anymore, I wish someone else who entered to be selected?
