Edit: Alright, I get it, I'm paranoid... Lol, but really, thanks for everyone's responses and being so polite. I got it sorted with the nice fella, accepted the gift and thanked him (probably overdid it, actually).

I mean, yeah, I know, we're on a gifting website here, but OUTSIDE of giveaways? Specifically, a certain someone who was the original winner of my giveaway (until I had to reroll) is now trying to just.....give me a free game? Maybe it's just where I'm from, but people don't normally just.. give things for nothing. (Even here, you receive recognition for your generous deeds.) Maybe it's just the language barrier, as he/she admitted to using a translator to communicate, but it just makes me feel a bit... uncomfortable.
Edited because I just noticed all of my discussions end with "...?"

Am I just insanely paranoid?

Yes, absolutely. Just accept the d**n gift already.
No, he's/she's probably up to something.
Obligatory Potato option.
Optional Pineapple option, because I prefer pineapples. Because Little Nicky.

It's only happened once as such with someone I didn't know too well. One of my previous giveaway winners wanted to buy me a game one day when they had some spare money as a thank you. It really made my day, and I know they did this with other people they won games from too. it was a great gesture.

I occasionally get people offering me free stuff, but it is usually someone I know. On rare occasions, it is someone that knows me but with whom I am unfamiliar.

Special Note: Some people (like me) do not like "mystery keys" and will not redeem them without knowing which games they unlock.

Somebody in my friend list I barely even knew gifted me Bioshock Infinite. I was really surprised... Turns out I really enjoyed that game, too.

On normal circumstances this would be okay, but with your situation it does sound like something weird is going on.
