I've only played BF3, but I hear BF4 is still pretty broken. Plus, BF3 is pretty cheap and there are still players online.

Battlefield Bad Company 2

I have BF3 what i player 450 hours, and i have BF4 what i played 45h. BF3 plays better! More fun, less stupid deaths. Now i just don't play any BF, tired of shooters and not fun at all in BF4.

Bad Company 2.

They're the same game, just one has a little bit more stuff- some of that stuff being game bugs- while the other has less stuff- including less active players-. Either way, you kinda lose. BF3 was awful and I regret spending the hours I did in it, such a shame our standards gotten so low. :(

BF4 sucks, it doesn't feel like a BF game imo. BF3 is better, or like the others suggested, you can get BFBC2 (still my favorite BF game)

BFBC2 has lots of players still. And DON"T GET BF4. Bf3 is a ton better.

I have both and for some reason I still prefer BF3. BF4 has too many problems at the moment (will be fixed one day, but who knows when...). The gameplay is basically the same, the only thing that really changes are snipers but still, the BF3 snipers feel better.
If I had to choose one, I'd get BF3.

None. BC2, if it still has a player base. BF4 would have to be the most broken game I have ever played, & I'd avoid it like the plague until DICE/EA fix it. But, I doubt that will be any time soon because every patch they release breaks the game even further. Seriously, it's more broken now than it was when it first released.

Battlefield 3 with all DLC should be quite affordable by now, so there is that :D

I played BF3 last week and had no trouble finding servers, and as far as I know BF4 is still broken. So I would say BF3, especially considering how cheap you can get it for.

bf3 is the best to have for free

You know, BF3 is a great game. BF4, on the other hand, is rubbish. And seeing people commenting for Bad Company 2, I get that, it's an awesome game. But in my opinion, the best bang you can get for your buck is Battlefield 2: Complete. Lots of people still play it, and it's just more fun than any of the other games. Consider it.

bf4 WILL be the better once they fix out some of the major bugs, but even with the bugs, i still play it over bf3 due to the fact i want something to play on my x1

Battlefield 4 is a loss project of DICE. It has nothing new for you.Battlefield 3 has a good game play and lots of servers and player.vehicle control in battlefield 4 is really bad and when I played it , its remember me playing of battlefield bad company 2.
If you played bad company 2 before you will see lost of games is look like it in weapon class and else just like C4 that rollback from SUPPORT CLASS from BF3 to RECON in BF4.I like vehicle control system on BF3 more and more than BF4. BF4 have good thing too and one of its best is that killing enemies is to better in BF4 for peaple like us (cause of we have bad internet connection = LAG + Delay) we cant kill enemies easely in BF3 and for that we should shoot him 1 mag and we die by 1 shot.its show hit marker but he dont die but its going better in bf4 ...
any way dont waste your money for BF4 yet. wait till it going to have a good value drop then buy it if you have plan to buy it.
If you are going to become a new BATTLEFIELD player my advice to you is BATTLEFIELD 3. (even with lots of cheater after releasing BF4 and silence of EA and DICE about it and not doing any thing about it)
