which game would you prefer to watch?
Hey Larren. Is your brother good at or very knowledgable at any particular games? If yes, maybe he could start streaming them. You can host him and join his mumble/teamspeak server to help spice things up. (Mumble is better because less delay and it uses less system resources)
He could also try streaming games that are fairly new and in beta because they are not too saturated with streamers. If it's easy for him to focus on a game, I recommend he streams World of Warships. The audience there are usually more mature and some would even give him tips on how to play. He could start off by joining a stream that has around 20-40 viewers and ask for some tips, they may even host his stream when they're done (I've seen this happen a few times).
Sorry for the long text. Tell him to give it time and stream without his friend.

i like to watch games where theres a lot of player agency, like minecraft, so voted for Terraria, Starboud should be the same :D, good luck.

1) It will work if he really have entertaining skills while playing... we will see about it during the live...
=.=
2) Never streamed, probably never will.
3) You seem caring, not pushy.
It's good to have someone that wants the best for you.
Voted Borderlands, even if I probably would prefer other games, like BattleBlock Theatre.

I'm not gonna join any giveaways but I'm gonna enter the stream just to support your brother's confidence a bit.
But thank you for the giveaways anyways!
Also, maybe it's a small problem, but sometimes your brother's voice sound a bit off-sound, maybe a mic issue? Not sure.

I can barely watch one live stream without buffering every few seconds, so two at the same time... :P
Sorry I can't add one more to that viewers count. Have a bump instead.

stream link
This might be a bit of a long story, but bear with me.
My little brother (who's actually 21 even though he's 12 in my head) loves streaming, doing little videos, and even had a radio broadcast about games going on at uni. Only problem is, he's got no confidence in himself, and never believes people will come and watch him. At the moment he's streaming with a friend, but said friend treats him like a sidekick and is, honestly, rather nasty to him at some points. My brother's a bit autistic, which does mean he can be annoying at times, but he definitely doesn't deserve to be treated like that. Problem is that he doesn't have the self worth to see that he deserves to have friends that are nice to him, and just makes excuses for said friend ('well I can be annoying', 'people on stream find it funny', 'it's his channel'). I want to try and give him a chance to break out of it, and see that he is actually interesting to watch (he is funny/informative when he streams, and people watch the other guy in order to watch my brother), but it's really hard when you start streaming to get any viewers at all.
I'm no famous streamer, I only get two-three viewers whenever I try streaming, but it's definitely better than 0. Since I'm a girl, I figured I could use that to help him get viewers by dual streaming. He's definitely more interesting to watch than me, so hopefully it'll at least give him a chance to show people that, and even if we get 0 viewers we'll probably still be having fun just playing something together and it'll get him away from said abusive friend. Even if it gets him enough followers that he gets 4- 5 people watching when he streams, I'll consider that extremely successful.
Going to try a daily schedule for a week (e.g. streaming 8pm - 10pm every night) to see how it goes to start.
But I did have a few questions:
1) Do you think this'll work?
2) If you started streaming, what helped you the most?
3) Am I being too pushy? xD
Also, poll to see which game you think more people would be interested in watching. ^^
Thanks for reading all this. <3 I really appreciate it.
giveaways: 1 and 2
Edit: While Borderlands is winning the poll, decided to go with Terraria since it's a) a game he knows best, b) a bit sandbox-y so there's a bigger range of things to do, and c) there's some fun bots that let chat, for example, control a character (similar to twitch plays pokemon). Going to be streaming at 9pm GMT. If anyone wants to follow him already, my brother's twitch is here
