Ffs, I didn't know about that. I hate steam, I hate steam keys, I hate sites, I hate coupons, I have giveaways, I hate everything. ;_; It was much simpler when I was just buying steam gifts on steam. F@ck this, I'm out.

If you're about to buy a game, just check www.isthereanydeal.com and see if there's a larger discount somewhere at the moment, or what was the biggest discount so far. Then decide if you wanna wait or are okay with the terms you already found. Simple.

Even simpler, if you use Chrome, install enhancedSteam script and you'll have this data inside the steam pages, just above the steam price.

Well, I had one euro on GMG and thought I should use it to make some giveaways. Simple. :P It was so much easier to buy steam gifts.

It used to be. Times change. Honestly, I'm not a fan of over saturated market either from a point of "who's gonna know it all, follow everything" but it is better than having only 3 stores who could hold price through the roof.

If you had 1EUR meaning GMG Credit then you lost nothing ;) GMG doesnt allow you to use vouchers when you use Credit. So you'd either had to pay 0.5 realnmonies or 1 Credit ;)

They're doing that. It's just not fully automatic, for reasons that should be obvious.

That's nice, but you're still wrong. They can currently still be made, and none were deleted. They will let this one go by. It's their choice though.

And where was a mass GA of that game? Can't find anything.

Comment has been collapsed.

  1. It's not a Corporate%20Lifestyle%20Simulator GA, since the game is random
  2. GMG has a high multiaccount protection, therefore stocking up keys is difficult + 3.
  3. It seems to work only for accounts that have previously purchased something.

So its just not a mass GA for one game.

1 Most popular in this random Corporate Lifestyle Simulator and Huntsman: The Orphanage (Halloween Edition)
2 Protection? U can make accounts with temp-mail and 10-mins mail. Not difficult
3 No, it work with new accounts

Yes. And Need to switch Ip, etc.

No, it work with new accounts

At least not for me. Tried it out with 2 different "countries" one being my real ip and got "problem with payment" in both cases. So either I'm unlucky or it does not work.

Most popular in this random

It's still random. Unless official confirmedthat might be the case or not. If I make a GA with 20 times GTA5 and 100k Bad Rats but the 20 GTA people write in the forum, making it look like it's mainly GTA, then GTA gets blocked?
Don't get me wrong. Support can add any game to the list if there is abuse, but a random GA is never a clear case for "mass GA".

If the lists of games is known it's not random.

Anyways, we will see what support ends up doing.

"Later" means that after support will add them to ungiftable list they will be removed from "ga created" section of people who gave them away. So yeah - some people have have earned some minimal points (lvl 1from lvl 0) and +1 to ga created right now - but in couple of days they will lost it.

You can still make GA's for it. I suspect every person was wrong and they are going to let it slide.

As linked in the post here, please send in a support ticket in "Other" to report mass free giveaway games. You may be surprised, but we don't know every single game giveaway out there, so if you suspect that one has been missed, please submit a ticket and we will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Why not just make them worth 0? Or implement a moratorium. A game consistently available for a couple of cents would remain in the system, yet any game that was free even for a very limited period is removed forever. Even if that game consistently costs hundreds of times what the really cheap game costs. No, I never tried to give away a free game. It just seems arbitrary.
