What is your favorite internet browser?

I had some trouble in the past with duckduckgo(not finding what I needed maybe the problem was on me but I don't like to think that way :p ), but to add on the list, startpage is good. Is literally google but without the tracking(or so they claim, but don't they all claim?).

Firefox since ages ago. I've considered switching to Chrome, especially since the latest update fucked every script and addons I had.
The main reason I keep Firefox is because I'm familiar with it after years of usage, and because everything is there; bookmarks, bookmarks folders, addons, userscripts, etc.
I know that most of these can be moved and/or replaced with their equivalent, but still. I'm way too lazy to switch browser at this time.

i used firefox from back when it was called phoenix, but then switched to chrome when they moved the reload button to after the address bar and wouldn't let me move it anymore without an extension. i use firefox and edge to check my web development, but regular browsing is chrome these days.

What do you mean "moved the reload button to after the address bar"? Where else would it be? It's not inside the address bar if that's what you mean, just in line with it.

they've changed it again recently, but for what feels like a couple years the reload button was inside the address bar and was at the end of it (right side). i like my reload button next to back and forward, before the address bar (left side), but because they made the reload button part of the address bar i couldn't move it.
now i think the default even has the reload button where i want it, plus you can move it. haven't switched back though because i like signing into my google account and getting all my stuff in my browser.

+1. And Tor is not a browser, Tor Browser is. And if Firefox disappears because everyone goes to Chrome, so will Tor Browser because yeah, it's Firefox ESR with a bunch of patches.

Firefox for a very long time, until some major UI changes about three or four years ago, Pale Moon for about a year or two, now Chrome. Firefox/Pale Moon was getting far too resource intensive and crash-prone, but I was locked in to certain plugins and scripts. Then they forced users away from unsigned plugins, which removed the last barrier to dumping the browser. But I do have to live with Chrome's similar plugin restrictions.
Would "no favorite" be the "other" option? I really hate the limited/obfuscated options they all seem to have nowadays.

SWare Iron and Firefox as it is not fucked up anymore (57 and above).

Opera Presto had the best built-in pop-up blocker ever, blocking pretty much everything. With the other mainstream browsers I've used (including Opera Blink), some pop-ups don't get blocked on left mouse click (although they would if using right mouse click).
Too bad Opera Presto can't handle as much of the web as it used to due to increased use of HTML5 and WebM and such.

Firefox as my main browser, Opera as secondary. Gave Google Chrome a try multiple times and every time there was something that either annoyed me or I couldn't customize and set it up the way I wanted.
Firefox aside from using less resources gives me huge amount of customization options and optimizations with its about:config
editor and in my opinion better extensions.

Really? What exactly can't you customize in chrome?
I personally don't see a thing ;-;'
Please enlighten me - customizations are awesome and may be a reason to switch if they're nice enough :P
Even though my questions probably sound a little bit sarcistic they are serious! >.<

By going to menu and clicking on customize you enter a mode where you can change where URL bar, search bar and all taskbar icons are placed by moving them around or removing them. There were some things in my taskbar that I didn't need so I took them out, I re-arranged where some of them are placed, for example I placed my homepage button before the URL bar, while by default it comes after it. I was annoyed by the default positioning of certain things and this feature allowed me to set everything up the way I want it to be. I also added buttons for quick access to certain things in my taskbar, such as button for quick access to add-ons manager.
Firefox's about:config editor gives you a lot more freedom when it comes to things you can change when compared to Chrome's about:flags. I assume most people won't care about that though, but I do use it every now and then to change some things. For example you can decide how many seconds of video you want buffered after you pause it (I recently set it to 9999, which will basically fully buffer videos).
Firefox has better extensions for certain things as well, but I won't go into discussing that.

With so many option available I was curious what the browser people preferred. Many people seem not to care or realize that Microsoft, Google, or any one of a dozen other people track their browsing habits. While the tracking can make it convenient for the browser to "learn" where you like to go but at what cost to privacy? Some people really like their privacy and are going as far as only browsing while using a VPN. My search for a better browser and search engine came after I found out that Bing and Google still track you even if you have in private browsing on. I did finally decide to try a few different browsers and I wanted to see other suggestions. I would also like the browser to still be useful as some of the more secure ones seem feature light.
