Except the obvious titles I actually liked first black ops story very much and I still hear NUMBERS once in a while.

gothic 1 (gothic 2 is always mentioned as better game, but storywise id say its inferior. then again that might be just me)

For me the crown would go to Max Payne 1 and 2. Both the plot and the presentation was superb. The tragic story of a family man which turned into a strange (but awesome) noire love story with the comic book style cut-scenes all made the game more memorable.

Aaaand let's not talk about the third game.
