Its still EA, but its one of the most addictive games I've played in quite a while.

Far Cry PRIMAL the best one

I really liked lately:

Just Cause 3 (even though it gets repetitive eventually)

Spec Ops: The Line (decent gameplay, but very strong story)
Undertale (the best rated indie game of 2015, humorous and just play it because you really should!:))

As for single player games I would highly recommend the Dragonage and Mass effect franchise.
As for Coop games I would recommend Portal 2 (a must if you are a coop fan), terraria and Resident evil 5 (isn't horror, really)

Could definitely recommend the Borderlands series, had really fun hours of playing the games

Darksiders II.

Outcast, one of the best games of the last decade, now in a new and improved release. Superb atmosphere and soundtrack, with gameplay and graphics way ahead of it's time.

Lugaru, one of the very best close combat that you'll ever get in a game, no QTE junk like nowadays!

Wow you have a short but... very varied list of games! I won't recommend AAA games as you can find them on your own, but here's a list of some of my favorite very cheap games:

State of decay and Survivalist. Neither is horror, just with a bunch of zombies.
Door kickers, Gnomoria and Jagged Alliance 2 are very cool strategy games.
Jedi Academy and the KOTOR series are just awesome. Jade empire is similar and both excellent and free on Origin.
I see no X-COM, so any of those (Yes, I liked interceptor, shut up).
