Well it's not game as actual "game" for me it's more of a service provider, like I bought Sniper Ghost Warrior from GMG, and since it was my first purchase from GMG I didn't know it was not Steam-redeemable and that is was only for GMG's Capsule, I asked support of GMG for refund after like 3 minutes of purchase only to get answer that I can't get a refund because I received game key and their ToS say that if key has been disclosed to buyer, buyer has no right to get a refund, I was like dafuq? I had no real chance of getting refund at all because of like instant delivery of product, now I probably will never play that game, so that's my regret for this year.

The games i regret buying the most are Gotham City Impostors and From Dust,jut because i spent more than 10€ for them.
Never spent more for a game i didn't liked, i usually force myself to find something good in a game if i pay a lot for it (and i give up only if i don't find anything after some hours).
Also,i wish i didn't bought some games that were in sale,like: X-Blades,Cubemen,Zombie Driver.

Medieval 2: Total War. Every faction has the same units as almost every other faction. Little unit diversity. Better stick with Rome: Total War.

Arma 2 Combined Operations bought it for DayZ but ended up never playing neather of them.

I made some purchases I wasn't happy with in 2011. I learned my lesson and haven't really regretted anything.

Borderlands 1

Dinner Date. Oh God why?

Revelation 2012, so many updates and still fail. and that's really sad, because, i really like the idea, the theme of the game.
And then course Dejobaan Complete Pack. At the end it came out, that the only game in this pack, which i really enjoyed to play, was The Wonderful End of the World. Although, this game was before buying, the only one which i had no interest in.
Ooouu and Serious Sam: The Random Encounter also. thank god that it was only 0.9 cents or something.

The Darkness 2, 14€ for 6 hours of game...

Borderlands (first one),
CoD MW 3,
Dark Fall Lost Souls,
Deus Ex HR (good game but I watched a walkthrough, playing was uninteresting),
Reign Conflict of Nations.
I dont count games bought for $5 or so that disappointed me (like Assassins Creed, except AC III)

Chivalry. It's not a bad game, just nothing about it makes me stick around. It certainly doesn't have the depth of Warband.

Race07 + GTR Evolution, X Blades, Revelations 2012, Guns of Icarus, Global Ops: Commando Libya, Orion Dino Beatdow, Dead Horde and Ninja Reflex

For me it was skyrim, I just never got into any of it. It got boring fast, a lot of the missions were the same. Its a fun game for a couple of hours but I can't sink 30 hours of gameplay in that one. I just feel that quests get repetitive and tedious.

Diablo 3... and I bought 2 copies (1 for me, 1 for my bro) - played it a lot initally from release until the real money auction house was released and haven't played since...$60 a copy + taxes... I could have spent that money WAYYYYY better on Steam deals.

Skyrim for PS3

I bought Metro 2033 and few weeks later it was in Humble Bundle ;p but still the game is worth a lot more than HiB prices ;]

Diablo 3 for me. It got very repetitive at the end :(

Saints Row:The Third, I have only played for 4 hours...

Mass Effect 3. Should have learned my lesson after my thoughts on the second game. This one I couldn't even force myself to play.

Shouldn't have bought an indie game from a developer with dubious reputation at full price.
