Its been a while since I did a review, but hey, if you don't have problems with me uploading to other sites like GameFAQs / Steam, I might do something should you like my crappy work.

Well I didn't write many reviews, but if you read through my reviews (yeah, one is in my native language), and you want a few more, I did write some for a site. Killing Floor, VVVVVV and Master Reboot, but you have to use Google Translate or something like that in order to understand them. But even Google Translate can't translate literary hungarian, so expect a lot of mis-translations :)

I just recently started writing detailed reviews, and usually I only write about games, which had the greatest impact on me, either positive or negative :)
On a side note: I own a first-gen PS Vita, so if nobody has one, I have around 15 games to write about :D

Well, I would like to give it a try, but as I am currently invested in more projects I can probably manage only two reviews per month at most. In case that would be enough, have a look at some of my reviews.

You had me interested at " we're looking for some people that are interested in writing game reviews, previews, and whatnot."
You almost lost me at " if the game is/will be released in the coming days, or a preview, if the game's still in Early Access, alpha/beta, whatever. " What I mean is, I'd be very interested in reviewing older gems or re-releases of classics (the Dungeons&Dragons Gold Box games newly available through gog.com for instance) rather than newer titles, partially because it would give me an excuse to play or re-play some games in my libraries. However I am certainly not opposed to trying new games.
Of course it assumes I'd even make the cut since not many of my reviews are terribly lengthy. Nonentheless, here they are, no hard feelings if I'm not chosen:

I think it's a given that there are a lot of retro gamers out there. The main thing to consider is whether they'll be a large enough portion of your audience. The biggest factor will probably be where you advertise and the average age of the people who see those advertisements.

Won't the name of your site be a bit hard to remember?

Hey, I'm probably not the best journalist, I am good at writing and things of the sort and would like to step up to the challenge of writing some reviews for you If I get added to the team.
I got plenty of time to Invest in writing reviews for the team :D
(I would Most likely Review Early Access or Indie Games)

Do you already have someone for the android section?

Ok, I would be interested on it. Haven't played much on pc lately.

I haven't really reviewed in the past as I was stuck with a mediocre laptop that wouldn't do the games justice. Having recently moved into my own place and getting a nicely timed tax rebate the first thing I did was build my a shiny new PC. Now that I can actually run my games, reviewing stuff was actually something I was considering so I'd be interested. From my steam profile you can see I don't really tie myself to any particular genre/style of game though I obviously have my preferences. You also mentioned soundtracks and I also have a thing for collecting those. I do have a redonkulous android backlog as well though I don't do much android gaming. I was previously a staff member at TrueAchievements.com so amused to working with teams online.
Definitely interested in hearing more.

I would like to contribute. I like to write about game industry, and this would be nice to encourage me to write more. I have some reviews on my steam profile, nothing special. Anyway, good luck with this new chapter of yours. P's. I have a degree in social communication, I'm Portuguese, but I can write in English, without fancy words.

Ye Olde-Timey Games Review, my old review blog wherein I mostly did older games and stuck to a very structured format.
The Video Game Report, my current review blog wherein I play and talk about all kinds of games as I'm in the process of playing them, presented in a much more off-the-cuff manner and featuring much more frequent updates.
And finally, some Steam reviews I dun did.

This certainly seems interesting! I don't have any reviews written up right now, but I could certainly write something up if you want an example. English isn't my native language, but I followed a course in secondary school and my English is at C2 level (with a Cambridge certificate), and I'm about to start a minor in English language and culture, so English is not difficult for me. I study game technology, and one of the courses I had to take was game design, so I have some experience with analysing games and with the stuff behind it.
I mostly game on my laptop (it can't handle a lot, but it can run Dragon Age: Inquisition, so that's something) and the Wii U and 3DS. I also have a PS3. (I'm planning on getting a PS4 next year or something, when Horizon: Zero Dawn comes out; no other game has really made me want a PS4 badly, but that game looks absolutely beautiful.)

I'd be happy to write reviews of new/newish indie games mostly as long as I can continue to post them to steam too. Can see my previous reviews on my steam profile. Maybe a steam group or something would allow you to keep structure / post announcements / explain more to people?

I'm not exactly great at reviewing, so I'm probably not cut out for this kind of thing.
My reviews are generally not extremely serious either (I joke a bit while writing them). :P
Also, I'm wondering... Why the random gibberish for the site name? Or was that just a placeholder example until you figure out how it'll be called?

I'd be interested. (: I've done some game reviews before (though the blog's not active now and I can't retrieve them), English is my first language, and I have to write articles all the time for work so I'm used to typing them. I also write quite a lot of short stories in my spare time and have won a couple of cash prize competitions.
I have a top-end gaming system (capable of running every new game at ultra etc), a ps4, and a 3ds. (:

When I get a new connection (my old connection is busted and I'm using 3G for now), I'll definitely want to join. I did reviewing in my own language and I'm a freelance translator so it wouldn't be a problem too. (:
Edit: I tend to write shorter (my longest review was 1121 words long), but I don't want to write about the things that the player shouldn't know before starting the game besides spoilers. I'm talking about the details that should be first seen in-game (like Blood Dragon's shout outs or the tutorial section). I guess that wouldn't be a problem. (:
