I haven't read all the comments so I'm not entirely sure if this has been addressed but I would be able to do 1, 2 or 3 reviews a month depending on how extensive the game content is of the particular games involved. Is this something you would be looking for or do you prefer people who can do a certain amount of games per week/month?

I'd also be interested. I've only written one short review for ARK, but it's not meant to be seirous and haven't given it much though just let it all out as I wrote it. However, I usually review or 'criticise' both movies and games with friends. I like to write in my free time and written couple of short(er) stories. I've always wanted to try writing reviews, and I could probably write more than a couple in a month. I'd be fine reviewing both old and upcoming games. I have a a good PC that's capable of running everything on high, probably not on ultra though.
Whether I fit the task or not, I wish you the best with your website! :)

I'm fairly interested I guess
I'm Canadian and a mostly Nintendo/PC player.
English is not my first language, but I don't think it's that much of a problem
I also heavily follows what's happening in the gaming world and I guess I would be able to write some opinion pieces/news? Perhaps not news as I don't really like having to crap out articles quickly.
I wrote a review of Huniepop that I'm fairly proud of:

This actually sounds like a wonderful thing to do.
My Pros - I think i can review (even though i never wrote anything serious besides a few short stories and i'm writing a novel), my vocabulary is very wide as well even though English is my 3rd language, i have a good sense of Rhetorical Writing (communicating with the readers using literary devices and compositional techniques) i have a certain passion for Video Games, especially interesting indie games that flew under everyone's radar, and retro games.
My Cons - I don't have a console, maybe a controller-less PS2 in my storage room. I have a crappy laptop for gaming, but it can run almost any games if i set the the quality to the lowest (so new games might be a problem). I currently learn at a Campus, meaning that i only come home and have internet access on weekends. Sometimes when i write, my attention goes to the word i'm typing instead of typing it and i sometimes either miss crucial words in a sentence or i misspell a word. (I'm working on it though)
I understand if you don't take me, i lack equipment and experience for proper game journalism. But i have writing and gaming experience to compensate for that, and i take pride in my honesty. If you actually read all this, thanks!

Hi!
I'd like to try at least, I have some experience in reviewing ,had a blog "About The Games" once but just left it cause nobody could find it and read it xD
Also, I believe I can be a decent writer and I hope my grammar isn't so bad as it seems xP

I've a degree in screenwriting and creative writing and on top of that I'm also a freelance translator (English - Portuguese - English), so English is not a problem at all, namely UK English. I haven't written a gaming review in a while, but here's a link to my Giant Bomb reviews page: http://www.giantbomb.com/profile/killydarko/reviews/
PS: I'd have to cover PC games cause I'll be moving on the 1st of September and will be away from consoles for an undetermined amount of time.

I am interested as well, I do a lot of reviewing lately. People really seem to like my review, so I do it more and more and being a part of your website would be a nice upgrade to my work. You can see my reviews here: http://steamcommunity.com/id/BirdCute/recommended/
And I am also from Slovenia! Yay!

I'd definitely be interrested in doing this. I've done some amateur reviews on my youtube channel and my steam.
Shameless self-promotion incoming!

I have an excellent gaming rig too, my english is pretty good if I do say so myself, and I wouldn't mind reviewing either new titles or classics from bygone ages. Unfortunately, I don't own the newest generation of consoles... Or a console from the generation before that. I only have a few very old consoles, like a PS2, a gamecube, that kind of stuff, so I guess the stuff I'd do would be mostly limited to the PC.

I would be very interested in writing articles, reviews or previews for a special site. Unfortunately, I do not have any reviews, but it is no problem for if you tell me you would like to see some of my work, I would write something for you:) The thing is, I know I cannot judge all aspects of a game objectively and completely. I am not the best gamer, my difficulty is normally set to "normal", and when it is still too hard, I do not bother setting it to "easy". So I cannot comment on how challenging a game is. Also I do not enjoy multiplayer games so much, and I am not able to say which one is good and why. But I can get lost in a different world a game opens for me, I love following the stories, sink more and more into the atmosphere and also try to explore and find everything. I can tell how authentical characters act, react, talk and behave; and also I can tell how appealing gameplay, mechanics and systems (e.g. Skills) are. As long as a game is able to soak me into it, graphics do not matter for me, but if they are good, I often enjoy them additionally, this is why I spend a lot of time tweaking the best graphics for a game before actually start playing.
I think I can speak and write English pretty well, and I would love to help you with your site. As already mentioned by others before, this "free games" thing can be dangerous to write in this topic here, I do not want to tell you that this is a bad idea, but you should really think about if you want people to get curious because of free games or because of their favor for writing reviews. When they would like to help you, they will, even without free games. You can still give them, but if I was in your shoes, I would leave this passage out in this advertisement;)
Another idea: Maybe so monthly special, in which every author writes about one of his/her favourite games, and why they think it is so good:) Or also in the other direction, one of their most hated games, that would probably end really funny;D
Anyway, hope to hear from you:) And all the best finding good people^^

I'd love to help out, but that part about new games is kinda troubling, I mean I can run them fine, but I can't play through them all! and for a decent review just playing through isn't really an option. I do have the info on lotsa older games though :D
Oh and I do have a couple reviews on steam, but my goal there was more about having fun writing so... yeah.

Will there be Playstation Vita games too? :D
I have reviewed two games for a german Vita Forum, but not in english (who would have thought that? :D).
I could review PC games too, but I think you have enough people to do that :D
Theoretically I could do 3DS games using my nephew's 3DS, but that would be a bit harder to do.
The Vita does not get enough love from the players, but I have not forgotten it :D

I just didnt know if you forgot it :D
Yes I am interested :)
There is just a little problem:
I can only start in mid October because I am in Italy tomorrow (holiday) and when I'm coming back I have to learn for university.
I won't do anything else in this time, so I hope that's ok :P

If you want to see the length and maybe the style of my reviews, here are the two german reviews:

Yes they are, but that was a requirement :D
I think i wrote as much as I was allowed XD
I don't mind writing more, since I was a bit limited back then.
Ok then I'll contact you when I'm back home to see if there is still a need for me and after the testphase (in university) I'll write you again :P

It looks interesting. I don't have background when it comes to reviews, but I do one on radio/dj-ing so I know what to look for when it comes to the masses ;) English is not my first language, but I'm using it on a daily basis at work, so I'd say I'm proficient at it. Current setup consist of medium-high capable PC and a PS4 is on the way.
Fingers crossed for you guys!

Hi there, this whole thing seems quite interesting and I would like to join in. Personally I haven't had much time to write reviews for anything so I never did so. However, I am a Mac user so the only way I can run PC games will be through wine; performance of PC games may not be that optimal. But if you are interested in having a Mac section, which would include games that can run on mac through wine, I'll be willing to help out!
