Usually when a game becomes Free and you activate in (even from the Store) it gives a different license, to devs can choose to remove cards from that version (for microtransactios, for example), but here is not the case, the game it's free and gives cards too (for the people who bought it 100%, as you can't spend X amount of $ to receive them like TF2 or other F2P games).

The devs removed the "Trading Cards" info from the Store page, so everyone who got the game on the store page for free, doesn't get the cards, everyone else (old players or key activations) will. At least this is the logical way, but it's Steam so...

From time to time I look back the shopsite of games I reviewed or wrote a guide to see if they take part in the sale. Previously this was to decide if I want to make a giveaway for them but with the changed gifting System of Steam it is no longer that easy. Well, coming to the point finally I checked the site of Attack of the Labyrinth + and noticed that I couldn't make a giveaway for it anyway since the game is FREE since the first of November which leads to the following points:
I think the game is actually fun for some hours and has even local co-op (which makes the game harder due to the chaos). If you only play through it once it can take somewhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. If you are achievement hunting you will take several playthroughs as there is some ranging involved. Greatest problem is probably the balancing. If you found the upgrades for third form you can cause havoc all over the place but if you die once you can easily be swiped in a matters of a few minutes.
If the game looks interesting to you, you should download it and give it a try. The developer has made several announcements and after realizing he failed a bit in the beginning reduced the price and now made it even free. For some it may appear a bit whiny (he IS very apologetic) but he always was professional and even updated the game with new content AFTER he knew that few to none would actually buy it. I think it deserves some form of praise. Also it appears he has a new job so everything seems fine. If you just want to download it but have no Intention of ever playing it then don't bother. It is a waste of time.
