Being able to enter certain "exclusive" GAs makes for a nice incentive to give away more games. I suspect that there would be a lot fewer GAs, low levels included, if there were no incentive to give away games. It's a psychological thing (do things->number goes up->sense of satisfaction). Even big organizations that take donations in order to help people in need have similar things in place (give $20, get a pin).
And your extreme example above hurts your point. $60 games are not the only games. Here, give away this and you'll be level 1. It costs less than a cup of tea (that you make yourself, not one of those expensive cafe ones).

Well, I have a lack of economic resources myself yet I am able to create giveaways and saving a dollar isn't hard to do, I am not talking about spending hundreds of dollars on games.
But if I understand you correctly you would want this website to be seperated? People who only give and can't win anything and people who don't give and only win games? I am trying to get into your mindset here.
Plus you are only going for excuses here. What would you consider yourself when you are not a donator nor leecher?

People who donate free items or cash and do not suspect something in return. If your going be dumbass and say i can afford do a giveaway its called budget its rare thing for me be able buy luxury. More half the games i didnt buy myself. So you "donators' are not donating your trading your suspecting a free 60 dollar game in return.
