I saw that, downloaded the app and signed in. Did you get an email confirmation after signing in? I already had Amazon Kindle and Music apps installed, but not the regular app. After I installed it, it signed me in automatically from the stored account from the other apps. The promotion link disappeared from the main page, but I didn't see any indication whether or not the I would get the gift code.

Then I decided to unsubscribe from Audible, and it said that I do not have any Membership plan...

What credit card have you used? At first I have used some empty pre-paid card and had the same problem, but as soon as I changed it to my debit card I received $10 and status changed to 90-day trial.

Ah, finally got around it: Audible set the default payment method as one of my expired cards. As soon as I switched to the correct one I received the credit :D

My phone told me AmazonPrime charged $1 and Audible charged me $1 too, do they refund that or now they are charging for that, anyway, still a nice deal, but I wasn't expecting to be charged ^^'
