Today earlier i won a game from someone (Red Orchestra) so I added him but he took awhile to respond so I get off steam and get on back and in not sure if this is a coincidence or not but my password Steam password doesn't work out of a sudden and I swear that I freaked out this time. The password I usually use that takes one attempt to log in this time took me 5 attempts and it did not logged me in, but hopefully I changed the password from the Steam Pass, I also had to change my email password just in case.

I have no idea if someone else actually got in my account and changed the password while I was gone but I hope this never happens again. Did anyone else seriously got the same problem before?

Also in the end the person gave me his gift and it was all fine, but he didn't looked like someone who would do something like this... I feel creeped out right now.

I've ran into a few instances where I'm sure I typed in my password correctly and it took 3 or so tries before it let me through. Unsure why that is, possibly an issue with the login server?

Happened some times. It's like failing to plug your pendrive on your PC, then you flip it and fail again.
I don't know what sorcery is this.

Happened to me a few times. You type in your password and it's not recognized. End up trying it over and over and after 5-6 times if finally logs in. I blame Steam community being down so often when it happens.

Maybe you have a keylogger on your pc?
If that's the case try changing your pw from the phone or another pc, and don't enter in your main pc. If you try later and the password isn't changed, its definitely that.

Now I'm scared, why is my steam browser site now asking me for my humanity every time I login now?

On a more serious note, this happens all the time to my friend. It isn't anything to worry about. The issue is most likely server-sided. (this is me speaking from prior experience)

You should try changing your e-mail and your password again. If it keeps happening, try to make some scans on the pc.

You should not be connected to the internex while doing a scan. Just a recommendation.

I do not know the answer to your problems but I have a few questions. Do you run a spy sweep routinely or have any cleaning software of the sort for cookies, etc. It could be that maybe some malicious cookies or software could have infected your pc and thus maybe something is intervening. There are some good addons for Firefox that protect from such cookies getting onto your computer and tracking you or possibly storing your info. I use Cookie Monster and NoScript to prevent any such intrusions and I still get infected from time to time. Good luck! If all else fails just contact steam support and provide them with info of your bank account, etc. and they will retrieve the account for you. I've had a couple of scares while going between my sons account and mine and forgetting e-mails and passwords so I came close to locking myself out of one of the accounts. It happens to the best of us but good luck hope your able to get your Steamin' back on!

Hmm could have been too late by then though... If I remember there is a way to send the password to the e-mail. I dunno though I had to dig for it last I remember. Good luck though buddy... it would be a nightmare to get locked out of my steam cause of all the money invested in it but I feel it would be ok to get back in eventually via steam support.
