I'm fine with your choice, but them search up and blacklist the level 1 users with 1k games and couple hundred trades. I know it's more convenient to link it to easy-to-see levels, but then why would be someone exception who has the same, yet gives much, much less?

I am not "rich" by any means nor would I want to enter every single GA I see. There are plenty of people who are low level who can afford games but prefer to win them here for free
There are what I call leeches, people who can afford to buy things, have thousands of games, have done thousands of market transactions, and you still think they can't afford to buy their own games? There are plenty of leeches that are below level 7.
I'm not here to judge, but levels don't really mean much in the context of who can and cannot afford things. Some people make alternate accounts just to win games, Some people are low leveled and have won hundreds of games and have plenty of games in their library. Guess you want to cater to those people.
A person with 100 games and is on SG might just not like collecting games, whereas that person with 10000s of games might have bought all of them by themselves from bundles and is looking for a way to give back on SG by making tons of GAs.
You say you blacklist people level 7 and up. Not all level 7s have more than 1000s of games. Also, not all level 7s get to where they are following the rules. You have groups that give away games to each other via region locks and invite only GAs, people who use bits to enter things, people who are high leveled by giving out games that are worth a lot and then stop at a certain level so they can benefit from all the GAs and never make a GA again
Whatever, you do what you want. But again, not everyone who is level 7 can afford to buy their games because there are plenty of low leveled people who can afford games but might not choose to have "1000s" of games.
I don't care if I'm blacklisted or not , but I think this comes to show how people use their BL for totally different reasons than expected. Anyways, have fun increasing your BL to the thousands of users above level 7 who give much more than they receive

what i find hypocritical about your statement thou is that you don't want your games to go to these rich people, yet you're totally fine with entering their GAs and leeching stuff out of them. 1/3 of your wins comes from users who by your standards should be blacklisted and not allowed to win games.

yeah - like in OP's case.... hoiw dare these bad people missuse blacklist and BL him for rulebreaking, offensive comments he wrote in mentioned GA, telling other users to leave GA and so on...
funny thing how in 99% cases all creators of these QQ topics who were blacklisted for no reason, fake reason etc ends up simply calling themselves out and getting suspended as a result.

Just because you don't agree with the blacklister's reason doesn't mean they don't have one. Anyone is free to blacklist whoever they want for whatever reason.
With the huge number of giveaways running at all time, the best thing to do is to simply ignore them and move on.

To add on top too: and you were not even right. the XCOM remake is a prime example of a GA where it is slightly strange to ask for a reroll on the base of someone owning too much of a pack considering the base game has a 20-dollar price tag, and the rest of the DLC has almost 40. Not to mention that Enemy Within essentially turns it into a completely different game. (A game that holds the player's hand so much and adds so much advantage to XCOM that it could just feature a "Kill All Enemies" button on missions, but that is another question, especially considering how Enemy Unknown had it the completely opposite way around.)

Per Definition, no one is blacklisted without reason. The one who blacklists you always has her or his reason for blacklisting you. It might not make sense to you and you might think it is incredibly unfair and no reason to blacklist someone at all, but it does not matter what you think of it. The only thing that matters is the reasoning of the one who blacklisted you. And her or he will always have a reason. Their own, yeah, but there is a reason.

DISCLAIMER: Let's keep in mind I didn't enter the GA, I don't even care about it. Make sure you keep in mind this.
1: XCOM EU has a really expensive expansion pack which costs more than the base game: Enemy Within. The DLC is not the only reason to enter a "Complete pack" giveaway. Rarely (but it happened), the complete pack happened to cost less than the EW DLC. That makes it reasonable to enter the complete pack purely for Enemy Within.
2: enterers DO NOT decide who should enter the giver GA. It would have been common sense to just write ONE message in which you said you were against people entering that particular giveaway just because you'd prefer people without the base game to enter, but... You're not the giver and you insisted. You also argued and lightly insulted other people. You had no decisional power over it, but you insisted.
3: given the fact that your account had at least one infraction to the rules, it wasn't wise to get yourself in the spotlight like that...
4: you are in my blacklist because you tried to give away a free game some time ago. Probably more than one of the users you checked blacklisted you for the same reason before the giveaway you were talking about.
I found out at least 3 reasons, the last one being the most consistent one. If you are going to argue against me, please, read the disclaimer again. I'm not here to blame you, I'm here to be informative.

It's all up to you and no one will ban you for your blacklist.
The problem here is that you SHOULDN'T, and that's a completely different thing. If one day a guy adds you to steam and asks you why you blacklisted him, telling him "There's no reason at all/I was bored/Your opinion was different than mine/Whatever" won't be easily accepted by that user. You SHOULD always have a valid reason for blacklisting a guy, but you don't HAVE TO.
